Since our hotel is renovated from a historical building, each room is different from each other and offers a unique experience to our guests. Located in the Beyoglu district and 5 minutes away walk from Galata Tower, the property provides guests with access to a sauna. Galataport 10 minutes away walk from the hotel while Zorlu Center is 20 minutes away car, Package Post Office 8 minutes away walk, Cevahir Shopping Mall 15 minutes away car , Istanbul Modern 10 minutes away. Pros: It was a trip for my birthday and it was a truly remarkable experience. So thankful to everyone from the staff, especially the reception team and Ilker and Tunahan. A 10 out of 10 stay.

Pros: Liked the very friendly staff, and thank you for the reservation manager who was extra nice and upgraded me. My room was stunning with amazing balcony and view. Breakfast was excellent. Location was excellent 5 mins from Galata Tower.

Cons: There was nothing i didn't like, liked everything about this hotel. Most hotels here say 5 star but this really was!

The Hotel staff make the Galata Hotel MGallery Collection the place to stay.

Pros: Ulas Omay, Front Office Supervisor, is excellent. Any problems Ulas will do his absolute best to resolve them to your satisfaction and more. All staff I met during my stay at the Galata Hotel were exceedingly polite, caring and helpful. My room was very well presented, clean and comfortable. Bathroom facilities were all functioning and with plentiful hot water. The shower was special. On the downside the wifi was flagged by my laptop security as not being password protected. The bar and restaurant are, as expected, rather expansive. Breakfast menu is extensive and the food well prepared. I did not eat any other meals in the hotel. Wherever I may visit in the future however, I will be incredibly fortunate if I the staff are as personable, professional and caring as Ulas and his team.

Cons: If I visit Istanbul again I would hope to stay a little close to the airport. My opinion, based on this visit is that Istanbul is a very busy large conurbation dominated by either multi-lane roads or narrow single carriageways. Both are usually packed with cars either traveling at fast speeds or bumper to bumper. My advice is to add additional time to any journey time shown on a navigational device or mobile.

Excellent location and marvellous staff

Pros: Staff was very attentive and even treated my partner with a complimentary birthday cake, which i found to be a very nice detail. Location of the hotel could not be better. you can literally reach all of the major points of interest and/or ferries within walking distance

Cons: The rooms could use a makeover and sometimes look a bit dated when considering the pricepoint. I have had an excellent stay at an MGallery location in Vietnam, so I'd say this hotel could do a bit better. But all in all a good experience

We did enjoy our stay and the view from our room was excellent.

Pros: The hotel was well situated to get into the Galata area. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping provided a really good service.

Cons: Room lacked adequate storage. We decided to have breakfast in the hotel on one morning, as it was very wet outside but we were disappointed in the offering for how much they were charging.
