Pros: Staff, especially Arslan is very helpful. Location is very near to Gulhane T1 line. Walking distance to Sultanahmet and Sirkeci. Family room is spacious and clean.

Cons: Lif is at level 1, but the staff can help with luggage.

Pros: It's an old building located in the narrow-roads centre of Istanbul, so you cannot expect a resort style big parking/swimming pool/ballrooms or top notch latest advanced ergonomic standards, BUT if you are visiting an ancient city, what you really use the hotel room for, is to sleep, and this hotel has an incredible location, the bed are comfy, family room was very big, water pressure incredible. On top of that, the breakfast was very good, plenty of local delicacies, some different every day, and (best for last) the staff makes you feel as a member of a big family, the warmest staff I met in my many travels

Cons: Istanbul is the city of cats, are roaming everywhere, also inside the hotel... this is a local tradition, (almost every restaurants got roaming cats too), so if you are allergic to them (like me), be prepare to it. Said that the staff was helpful to keep the hotel's one away from me.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a family room and it was really spacious. The cleaning services were excellent: the room was cleaned really thoroughly every day, it was spotless! Even sheets were changed on daily basis. The location is excellent; in the centre with a beautiful park with parrots and cats nearby!

Cons: The central street is noisy in the evening. It didn't bother us at all since we ljved on the upper floor, but on the 1st-2nd floor it might be uncomfortable. The building itself is old, but it is probably the same for most of the hotels in Sultanahmet.

Truly wonderful stay in Istanbul at the Black Pearl

Pros: Located very close to the popular attractions. The room was clean and neat and the staff were very cordial. Special mention to Azlan who was really helpful and kind and made our stay a memorable one.

Cons: Nothing to complain about.

Pros: I highly recommend Black Tulip hotel. This was our second time staying with them and we will be staying with thwm again as the servicd is really good. Location is convenient and close to gulhane tram station. Staff member are very nice, speak good english and are very helpful.

Good value for money hotel near the main museums of the city

Pros: The personnel was very kind with us. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh with a combination of local tastes and international kitchen

Pros: Everything was great! Great destination, nice staff and nice breakfast. Two minutes to the tram station.
