Hotel Yasmak Sultan

A lovely hotel with lovely staff.

Pros: Extremely friendly and very welcoming. We got there earlier than expected and they were extremely kind to let us check in a little bit early to allow us to freshen up after a long journey... Which were extremely grateful for! Also surprised my sister with a lovely birthday cake on her birthday, which was also very thoughtful and kind. Would definitely recommend its a lovely, small hotel with lovely staff.

Cons: Room was a little bit smaller than we thought, but it was fine.

Pros: Fantastic location in the very city centre close to all attractions. Hotel staff is very friendly I arrived at 8 a.m. and they gave me the room immediately. Breakfast on the roof top restaurant was nice with variety of dishes. A spa area has a good jacuzzi, pool, hamam and sauna

Excellent stay

Pros: Large variety and tasty breakfast with a superb view of the Bosphorus. Staff at the restaurant are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very well located, with the tram at 2mins walk and main attractions within walking distance. The room had all the required amenities and well cleaned everyday. The spa centre offers great facilities like turkish bath and a pool area.

When I return to Istanbul, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

Pros: Fantastic location – very close to the tram stop, with ferry docks also within easy walking distance. Major landmarks such as Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Gülhane Park are just a few minutes away on foot. The hotel itself is very charming, comfortable and well maintained, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Another big plus is that everything you might need is right around the hotel – plenty of restaurants, as well as small shops just next door where you can easily buy water, juices, chocolate and other everyday essentials.

Cons: We were a bit concerned about the breakfast beforehand after reading some reviews (not only for this hotel, but for many hotels in Istanbul), so it actually turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. You can clearly see that the staff make an effort and that there is a good variety of options. While the hot food selection could be slightly richer, overall the criticism we had read seems overstated. As a constructive suggestion for the future, during the next refurbishment or upgrade it might be worth paying a bit more attention to sound insulation, both between rooms and especially with better sound-proof windows. This is meant purely as a suggestion for improvement and not as a criticism, as it did not significantly affect our overall very positive experience.

Pros: Wonderful location. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The transfer was comfortable and well-organized. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant with its beautiful view was a lovely surprise. The rooms are cozy and nicely decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Cons: The soundproofing in the rooms could be improved, I woke up several times during the night because of loud conversations in the hallway. Additionally, the pool, in my opinion, is in need of some renovation.

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff and great location

Pros: Hotel was lovely upon entry you are greeted with a warm welcome, and a staff member assisted my mum with her case which was lovely. Reception were kind, helpful and friendly. The room was a great size, comy bed and good shower. It was kept spotless by the incredible cleaner. I even got a cake for my birthday and they made our stay amazing. The rooftop restaurant was lovely, with incredible views and great food. They even have a full vegan menu 😍. I would definitely recommend the hotel. It is also in a great location close to the blue mosque, hagia sofia and the cistern. Also a great spot for spotting cats 🐈 😻

Cons: The coffee in the room was nescafe and it is the only coffee is really don't like haha. But other than that it was great.

Pros: Very nice and friendly hotel, rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need. Excellent location, very close to tram station, local stores, main attractions and restaurants. Roof top restaurant has a nice view and very tasty breakfast with variety of food, something for everyone. Staff is always smiling and ready to help. And the best thing, even placed so close to everything, there is no trafic or other noise so you can sleep like a baby. Great value for money! We will definatelly come again! Thank you Yasmak Sultan Hotel for making our stay in this beautiful city even more pleasant!

Pros: Thank you so much for the great experience. The staff was very helpful and kind, the room was clean and comfortable and the location is central. The breakfast was just okay, I would have expected more variety. Overall, a good choice when visiting Istanbul.
