Great location, cozy and very clean.

Pros: The property is located in an exceptional position, only 2 mins from train/tram station, and 5 minute walk from local attractions. Rooms cleaned everyday which was lovely to come back to after a day out exploring.

Cons: As we were both smokers I had booked the room as it stated balcony as depicted in the photos with a table and two chairs, however this was not the case the balcony was barely big enough to stand outside, I assume the larger balconies are for the family rooms- this could be updated in the room type descriptions.

Good but needs some improvements

Pros: Close to center Free parking ( a blessing) Good breakfast, but repeats itself (besides 2-3 things that changed- as fruits and a sweet treat, everything else stays the same)

A taste of luxury on a budget

Pros: For the money, this was quite luxurious. It’s not a five star hotel but it certainly had a touch of class about it, care and attention to detail made this pretty special. The cooked breakfast - slightly different each day (cold meat, cheese, omelette, bread even chips(!) was superb (and plentiful!). You don’t usually get such a good and varied breakfast in a hotel - I was very impressed. The other great thing about this was the location - ten minute walk from the mosques and palace and the restaurant district

Cons: No negatives. Being picky, the A/C was a little noisier than some but really not that noticeable.

Great spot to explore

Pros: Good location for exploring the old town and a tram nearby to explore further. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, we really enjoyed it and looked forward to it each day!

Great place to stay in Istanbul old town

Pros: The hotel is in the heart of the old town, but located in a relatively quiet area, so you’re close to all main attractions but still able to get a good rest. The breakfast was by far the biggest surprise for me. It was so nice and with a lot of variety. I genuinely looked forward to it in the morning. Staff was nice and attentive, rooms were spacious with everything you need.

Location, location.

Pros: Hotel Hypnos was located in the centre of the main attractions in Istanbul and in a walking distance to the metro station. It was enough to just walk out from the hotel to feel the atmosphere of the city. However, it was very quiet at night. Staff in Hypnos were very friendly and hospitable. We had to leave early to catch the plane and we were hoping to get just coffee before our departure. Instead we were served a very tasty Turkish breakfast. Amazing.

Cons: It is more of a suggestion than something we disliked but we wished there were more plants on the balcony.
