RA Apartments

Fantastic accommodation.

Pros: Stunning interior, all mod cons, great water pressure. All round a fantastic fully fitted apartment.

Good location for pre cruise stay and to explore the local area

Pros: Accommodation was modern and spacious and had everything we needed. Location was perfect for us and very close to cruise terminal. Would stay again.

Cons: There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom

Spacious and cosy appartment with good location.

Pros: We liked first of all the location, it was perfect: close to the main attractions and close to the tram stop, we could walk or take public transport. The design of the room is very comfortable and modern. The apartment was spacious and well organized. Good kitchen with dishwasher and basic utensils. Our apartment overlooked the courtyard, it was quiet at night.

Cons: We had some difficulties with the check-in. It was my fault, I forgot about the entry code... Please save it and do not forget it). Then we could not find our apartment in the building, as it was not in the main building with the elevator, but in the adjacent one. And it was also unclear how to use the electronic key. In the end, we contacted the apartment and they helped us))). Everything turned out to be very easy to use.

Fantastic apartment in Istanbul

Pros: Apartment was in the Tophane area of Istanbul within about 100m of the Tophane bus and tram stops - it’s location in the Karakoy area was fantastic for access to shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was quite spacious and we felt comfortable and safe. Security was excellent with a code required to enter the building and our apartment. Indeed, the apartment has an electronic lock which opens via a mobile app - this worked fine, although I was worried my phone would go flat and we wouldn’t be able to access the apartment. The bed was fantastic - one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. Although we didn’t see the staff, they were terrific - Gulsah responded quickly to any concern and corrected deficiencies when identified - in our case she supplied a hair dryer when none was available in the apartment.

Cons: The apartment had limited cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery etc eg, 3 knives and 3 forks - it was a waste of time having a dishwasher when there is such limited utensils. The tops of the cupboards were incredibly dirty - but this was a high area where most cleaning staff would find it difficult to clean. The floor is concrete tiles and the roof is concrete. This creates some dust and means your feet are constantly dirty. However, disposable slippers are provided. I think the apartment would be cold in winter without additional floor coverings/mats - but in summer it is perfect.

4 night stay in Istanbul

Pros: Great location in Istanbul for access to tram and Taksim tower. Excellent security and washing machine provided.

Cons: More crockery and cooking utensils are needed

Lovely modern apartment in a great location.

Pros: A lovely modern apartment in a great location. We stayed in a garden-facing, room which was very quiet. We loved waking up to the sound of doves cooing outside! Loved the shower! Gulsah was very helpful and always responded quickly if we needed anything.

Cons: The corridor leading to the apartment was quite dark and the automatic lighting outside the door took a while to come on. There were no hooks to hang your towels on, which was a bit frustrating.

Pros: Great location, spacecious and roomy, family friendly

I would consider these apartments to chose for my next stay.

Pros: Location is perfect for those wanting to have walks in the center of the city. Apartments are fresh and clean. Staff is friendly and always helpful.

Cons: A bit more cutlery (e.g. espresso cups for a coffee machine, some more plates etc.), and hand towels would do good.

Pros: Modern and functional. Stay like home. Many amenities, complimentary coffee maker, mineral water and soft drinks. Clean and stylish apartment. Near everything you need. Pleasant stay. Front apartments with some moise from the street.

Fantastic modern apartment with all facilities.

Pros: Fantastic location, lovely spacious room, with kitchen, ultra powerful shower, and contemporary design throughout. I have stayed in many hotels and apartments throughout Istanbul and the RA apartments is among the best.

Cons: There was some noise from a nearby building site but this is inevitable wherever you stay in Istanbul due to the major developments that are taking place. This wasn’t too much of an issue as we didn’t spend much of the day inside and there was no noise at night.
