Erzurumlu Hotel

Nice and friendly hotel with nice views, less than an our drive from main airport

Pros: Lovely, cozy and clean hotel with nice views and helpful friendly staff. Very convenient from the main airport!

Pros: I have decided to stop in this hotel for one night on my transit to Montenegro and have chosen it as an option because I would like to stay not in Istanbul downtown but on the Black Sea coast and go swimming in the first half of the day before I take a cab bringing me to IST airport. The room was tidy, the bed was comfortable, everything was fine with necessary appliances inside and quality of WiFi. Breakfast represented a buffet with a perfect choice. The panoramic view on the shore and sea from the terrace where breakfast had been served was really terrific! The hotel staff was polite and helpful.

Cons: The room square was relatively small. Also the room rate was quite high in comparison with he same quality hotels in Istanbul's downtown but I guess that it was due to the location at Kilyos resort area.

Pros: Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful! We would highly recommend a stay here!

Lovely overnight stay in friendly well equipped hotel.

Pros: Lovely older property renovated nicely. Fabulous view from the restaurant. Easy walk to town. Tea making facilities in the room. Very nice people.

Cons: We were surprised by the bedding arrangement which did not have a top sheet for summer. Just arrived in Turkiye so this is probably something we have to deal with! Not a criticism just a surprise.

Great location, great room!

Pros: Location is amazing! A quick walk to the beach - stairs involved of course, this is Turkey :). The lunch we had at the restaurant was amazing - tasted like home cooked food - a welcome treat after travelling for 10 days!

Cons: The pool had a very poor selection of beverages - would have been great to sip on a cocktail.

Pros: I arrived after breakfast and had breakfast on the plane but ate a small amount at the hotel which was ok.

Cons: Having opportunity to stay longer. I had the unfortunate experience of paying the taxi from the airport in cash because I had forgotten that my friends had paid it online when they booked the hotel for me.

Amazing View & Swimming Pool

Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The views of the bay below the hotel are amazing. We had a family room with no balcony, but the room provided a seating area right at a large window that more than made up for the lack of balcony. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. Swimming pool was well maintained and clean.

Cons: Not all staff members are comfortable with English language so sometimes help from reception is required.

The room was brilliant. The staff were wonderful the beach nearby not so good. I would not pay to go and sit on a beach

Pros: A short drive from the airport and staff were very accomodating when we arrived late. The room was a somewhat awkward shape and the bed was not the most comfortable, but my partner is very tall! Great location with sea views and good nearby restaurants

Cons: The staff member who showed us our room did not explain that the air con would only work if the window was shut, and in fact he opened the window. We therefore did not have aircon for the night and the room was very hot. The owner apologised profusely for this the next morning.

I’m happy I chose this hotel for my long layover and I’m sure it’s a great choice for a weekend or so.

Pros: I liked the room and the staff most of all. The room was very comfortable with a wonderful view And all the staff was very friendly, welcoming and ready to help at any moment!

Cons: It doesn’t have to do with the hotel but the beach was very dirty and not inviting me to swim at all. But as a walk it’s very nice and quiet.
