Fuat Pasa Oteli - Special Category Bosphorus

Overall, it was clean, quiet and safe with helpful staff, but in my opinion, the price was too high.

Pros: I liked the building because it has a sense of history and a story behind it. The breakfast was also quite rich and good. The bathroom was comfortable and everything was very clean. The location is very practical for using public transport.

Cons: The room was not very comfortable, and what bothered me the most was the same music playing over and over again in the atrium, which my room window faced. I recommend to turn it off or at least play different music. The room was quite hot and it was difficult to catch some fresh air. There was also food/drink in the minibar past its expiration date, which unfortunately I only discovered after opening the packaging and noticing that it's not OK.

Pros: A lovely hotel. Very clean. Room housekeeping superb. Breakfast very good. All staff helped. A bit of a struggle with English, but that our problem. A couple of weddings as hotel so popular, so music from about 8.30 to 11.00pm. We enjoyed. Others may just go out to local bars etc. A great 6 days. The view of Bosphrous is superb.

Great staff and nice traditional style hotel

Pros: The staff were all fantastic and very friendly. Many spoke English. When we mentioned concerns with our room(s) they moved us with no hesitation. The communal areas of the hotel are amazing, traditional / old style. Nice view of the Bosphorus from the dining/breakfast area. Great public transport links, but away from the busy centre of Istanbul. Friendly local shops and cafe's etc.

Cons: The air-con was not working and our room only had an internal facing window, making it very warm, 28C. On the second night we were moved to another room with windows to the street, but the room was tiny. On the third night we were moved to a reasonable size room with windows to the street. The rooms were clean (daily room service) but the decor was in need of updating/refreshing. It seemed like they were in the process of decorating some of the rooms, probably in readiness for the summer season.

Pros: Fouad Pasha Hotel is the best hotel in Istanbul The hotel is very clean, the restaurant is wonderful, and the view is very beautiful The best thing about the hotel is the staff, all of them are helpful, cheerful, and welcoming, and their behavior is wonderful and very quick

We will stay again.

Pros: Breakfast is quite good. There are not so many options, but the quality is really high, and you will get all that you need. There is a nice terrace where you can have a cup of tea or coffee.

Cons: Definitely, tea for guests should be free. The pool is small, and the water is cold. It is more decorative.

Pros: A beautiful hotel, with staff that provide excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble.

Cons: The location, because it was only me and my 20 year old granddaughter there isn't much about the local area, although we were able to get the ferry and visit other parts of Istanbul.

Pros: The staff were super helpful the place was amazing and the location is perfect

Pros: We would like to thank the lady at the reception who helped us get to the room immediately without waiting at the entrance. All of the staff are extremely friendly and high-level people. The breakfast room and breakfast of this hotel, whose location I know well, are excellent. Hope to See you again.

Cons: There is nothing I don't like

Pros: Staff, view, cleanness were totally one. Staff was kind and very helpful. Loved the terrace!

Cons: Even there were several comments in an opposite way, it was not so noisy. That’s true it’s not a silent hotel but the building is historical and old, that’s a kind of normal.

Pros: the view, bed was comfortable, the staff were helpful

Cons: Poor wifi connection and the room was smaller than we thought
