A very nice hotel in the historical center of Istanbul

Pros: The stay at the hotel was amazing! The hotel is conveniently located and very quiet, you can't even hear the minaret! Breakfast every morning is just like home, plus sweets. Guests have a comfortable new elevator (a rarity in the historical part of Istanbul).

Cons: Our room 401 was on the top floor (it was super!), with a sea view - the room rises above the neighboring rooftops, BUT during our stay (January) it was very windy, and on the top floor it was especially noticeable: there was a slight draft from the windows, and the headboards of the beds are near the windows - strong blackout curtains did not completely protect heads from the draft from the windows.

Great location for Old Town exploring

Pros: Perfect location to all sights in Old Town. Breakfast was okay. Fridge and hot water in the room. 2 bottles of water for the first day. Got an upgrade to Seaview room. Was a nice view. Reception was very welcoming, helpful and nice.

Cons: Room could have been a little cleaner. Tea and coffee in room was only on the first day. Not the newest hotel but really okay for the price and location.

Everything was good except breakfast

Pros: Family rooms were good and spacious cleaning was done properly

Cons: Breakfast was so bad, my family hardly had breakfast because there wasn’t a variety. The egg was made early at 6:00am and if you go late for breakfast everything was cold plus there was no fresh egg station no proper fresh fruit cut up so I would recommend don’t include breakfast with your stay

Pros: Artika hotel is fantastic, very well sized rooms with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Room was clean and well air conditioned. Easy check in / check out and just a short walk to the Hagia Sophia

Great hotel and staff

Pros: The hotel is very nice and comfortable. Staff were amazing they will help you all the way

Cons: The only think the hotel is in a hill so it's difficult if you have small kids with the pram .the rest all perfect

Pros: Excellent location, staff was amazing, they wanted to help us if we had any inquiries or issues, and they let us leave our luggage in the hotel after the checkout. Hotel is very clean, bed is comfortable and location is great. A lot of restaurants nearby and 5-7 min walk from Sultan Ahmet. We highly recommend!

Pros: Breakfast was pretty okay, nothing excessive and too much, quite okay for the price you pay. The street is quiet and we didn't have any problems. I hope the terrace will be finished soon because the view from it is beautiful. I want to praise the staff who were always helpful, they always treated our parents to coffee or tea. They are really kind

Cons: Cleanliness could be better, some parts are really dirty. Of course you are just sleeping there but you still want to feel comfortable. The location is a bit remote but it is okay.
