Good location close to key landmarks

Pros: Recital Hotel is in an excellent location, convenient with shops, public transport and restaurants right there. Blue Mosque is a short walk away also. Spacious rooms. Clean.

Cons: At night it was noisy, a very loud stream of water constantly going, like a toilet had just been flushed. Made it difficult to sleep each night. The breakfast room felt more like a staff room, with staff eating their own meals and coming and going. Not sure if that’s normal in Turkey.

Wonderful hotel in Sultanahmet

Pros: The hotel is located in the historic city center within walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, etc. The neighborhood is very pedestrian friendly and safe. The room was clean and well maintained with basic toiletries and hairdryer provided in the bathroom. The room had a safe box. The AC was quiet, there was no noise from the street or other rooms at night. The buffet breakfast was of good quality and had a large variety.

Cons: Be aware that because the hotel is located in the historic city center, it's far from the airport and the narrow cobblestone streets in the neighborhood are difficult for cars to navigate.

Comfortable and friendly hotel in the heart of the main tourist district

Pros: Very clean property with excellent staff throughout. The room was exactly as advertised and the location was ideal for all the main sights. Breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of choice and attentive staff. Reception is permanently staffed and we were always made to feel welcome.

Cons: Nothing really but a few things be improved a little. For example, it would be better if the lamp worked without the main overhead light coming on. A coffee table would also be useful. Very minor things.

Beautiful hotel Recital

Pros: This is the hotel you want to stay when in Istanbul. Boutique, clean, very good rooms, good breakfast, 10 minutes walk from Blue Mosque and center. And the staff here is incredible, I havent met such nice and helpful personnel anywhere.

Lovely hotel for a short break, in an excellent location.

Pros: Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with great views of the Bosphorus. Very close to lots of good restaurants and an excellent location for walking to a lot of the well known attractions in the old city.
