Great value for money

Pros: Great location, close to Hagia Sophia and Sultan Ahmed Mosque (the Blue Mosque). I mostly walked everywhere, but there’s also a metro station nearby, which makes getting around super easy. As for the hotel, it’s great value for money. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re comfortable enough and have everything you need. Breakfast was good and did the job. The staff were really friendly and always happy to help. They even helped us contact a shop where we thought we had left a watch — and thanks to them, we actually got it back. If I come back to Istanbul, I’d definitely stay here again.

Nice, kind staff and tasty breakfast.

Pros: The breakfast was fine and diversified. The rooms and the hotel was clean and the staff were kind and helpful. We could checkout really early (the hotel is 0-24) and it was a very important aspect for us.

Cons: With car it's a little bit hard to reach the hotel, but our taxi driver solved the problem. The walls are thin so you can hear the other guests but not too disturbing.

Pros: All possible praise for Hotel Carvan! The hotel truly exceeded my expectations – extremely clean, perfectly located, with comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms. But what truly sets it apart are the people – I want to especially thank the reception staff, Cihangiz and Ali, who welcomed us as if we were family, not just hotel guests. Their kindness, smiles, and hospitality left a lasting impression. A big compliment also goes to the owner, Ali, with whom I had tea every morning – a man who greets you sincerely, warmly, and wholeheartedly. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Carvan to everyone! Good budget hotel ,you got what you paid for,good location to main attractions ....

Pros: Always fresh and great if visiting for one day. Repetitive ---and wasteful (A lot more put out than needed) staying longer. Continious nice coffee . Desk manned 24hrs.

Cons: Stairs down into hotel were deadly ....big marble slabs about 30cm high One room had builders refitting it with hammering and drills AT 12am (Midnight)

Pros: The location is very good. Breakfast was amazing. Murat abi was very helpful we really appreciate his help and how he took care of us as we were two girls alone. Everyone was doing their best. We check in very late and we had someone waiting for us.
