Hotel Barbarosa

Pros: A good hotel, but it’s not easy to find at first. I had to walk around nearby until a hotel staff member noticed me and came out to guide me. The room was clean, spacious, and had a nice sea view. It’s close to all the major attractions.

Cons: I booked for one night in January, and when I tried to extend my stay, the price quoted by the hotel staff almost doubled.

Pros: The room was nice and clean. Stuff was also helpful and nice.

Pros: Great hotel, really comfortable and a decent value for money. Just one thing is it can be a bit tricky to find as the address takes you to a restaurant called Barbarosa, but the hotel is down behind it, and called Constantinopolis on the plaque outside

Pros: Very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, great central location and value for money

Pros: Close to the Blue Mosque area and tram connections to the airport metro. The restaurant served good food at reasonable prices. Comfortable room, with daily water refills and a refrigerator. Great value hotel!

Cons: The streets of the area might be slippery when it rains. Also can be steep, if you are not used to hilly areas. Otherwise, great place to stay!

Pros: Great location for a fully fit traveller and great price for what is a clean, comfortable hotel, less than a mile from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.

Cons: For me, l had no complaints. However, this is not an easily accessible location for anyone with mobility issues. The roads are very steep and the cobbles were very slippery after rain......which is not uncommon in Autumn or Winter.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel. Staff was very nice, everything was extra clean, nice and tidy.

Pros: Very clean, simple but comfortable. Everything works. I'm sure I was given a much bigger room than booked. Surrounded by steep hills both ways but lots of nice restaurant/cafes.

Pros: the manager welcomed me in perfect english. the room was perfect, exactly as on the photos. there is even a little terrace. bed super comfortable, bathroom seems all new. definitely coming back. 5 minutes walking distance to the main mosques and 10 minutes to the airport bus and public transportation.

Comfortable and relaxing sleep. Clean rooms and good service.

Pros: There is always a front desk staff present and hotel staff by the entrance to welcome you and help you with your inquiries.

Cons: If you have big luggages and you travel with elderly or young children its best to book an airport hotel taxi via Constantinopolis Hotel. (This is the new name of this place.) I have a light luggage but the travel and flight delays made me exhausted. I used the metro from Sabiha Airport and transfer to train and another tram. The walk was not too far but the streets of istanbul is sloping up and down and going to hotel you go further down. It gets easier on the following days as you get used to the terrain. But be mindful of this \
