Pros: Merhabalar Galata Door Hotel We chose your hotel in the historical center of Istanbul, which met our expectations. Cozy, nice, clean and the view was amazing. Transfer to the hotel provided. What more could we wish for. The New Year's Eve that we experienced there was enchanting. We would like to sincerely thank the hotel owners - you were kind, helpful, accommodating - including the lady who cleaned for us. We really enjoyed our stay. Kolay gelsin. Great location to stay at.
Pros: The best part is its proximity to restaurants, cafes, shopping street. The family who manages the hotel was also very helpful and friendly and accommodating.
Cons: A little dated and washed out.

The owner very polite
Pros: The room wasn’t 60 Square meters. Without sofa as it was mentioned on booking. Finally the owner gave us 2 double rooms instead and told us that they never had this kind of of room !!!!
Cons: We had booked a deluxe family suite 60 m2 but instead we got two double rooms

Pros: Great location. Near Galata tower, walkable distance to Galata Bridge and Istiktal. Shops and cafes everywhere. Quiet neighborhood. Comfy bed. Warm shower. Clean sheets and towel. Good daily room cleaning.

Pros: The hosts were very kind throughout my stay. The room itself was pleasant and very comfortable. To add to that, the location is quite perfect. It's close to galata Tower, the streets are filled with restaurants and shops and the atmosphere was great. Overall I would definitely recommend staying at Galata door!

Pros: The staff are very friendly, very responsive, recommended good restaurants and helped in every possible way. The location is good, 10 mins walk from tramway( kabatas and bagiclar lines), 5 min from metro and funnicular. 2 minutes walk from galata tower. Restaurants aand coffeeshops are very close ✔️ good location.

Pros: Everything was absolutely perfect! The host, Arif, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The staff were equally polite and attentive, making our stay feel truly comfortable. The area and neighborhood were lovely and safe, vibrant and full of local charm, with cafés, shops, and attractions just a short walk away. Access to public transport was also very easy, making it convenient to explore the city.
Cons: The cleanliness was very good overall. The room was tidy, the sheets and towels were fresh, and the common areas were generally well maintained. The bathroom, however, could have been a bit better in terms of cleanliness and upkeep. Overall, it left a positive impression. I’d rate it 8/10.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Pros: The property is in a great location, a street away from the famous Galata Tower and just a few minutes walk away from the busy Istiklal caddesi… also easy access to Karakoy pier. It’s a 25 walk to the old city district of Sultanahmet. Hotel itself has pretty much everything you’d need… fresh towels every day, shampoo, soap, working AC, mini fridge… the rooms are nicely decorated, surprisingly quiet and comfortable and the staff, especially Arif, are very helpful and friendly. The neighbourhood is safe and very central. There are a few places close-by that do really nice Turkish breakfast. I would definitely go back and stay in this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others

Comfortable and quiet. Perfect location!
Pros: Everything at this hotel was great. The location is amazing, and despite being so close to busy areas the street that the hotel is actually on is very quiet. I am usually a light sleeper but I didn’t get woken up by any noise at all - not from the street or from any of the other rooms. The room was comfortable with very good air conditioning. There are some great cafes and restaurants just a few yards away from the hotel so there were plenty of options for breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated being able to leave our luggage in a safe place after we checked out. We would definitely stay here again!
