Beautiful hotel with friendly staff

Pros: Everything, property was beautiful old style buildings was very nice. Very nice location great for getting around. But have to say staff where fantastic looked after us so well made my boyfriend birthday extra special! 10/10 for that

Gorgeous hotel, a perfect stay

Pros: Everything! The hotel is a stunning old building which is clearly very well looked after, our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The rooftop bar was an added bonus, with a wide range of drinks available and an incredible view of the river and city. Staff were brilliant - so helpful and pleasant, we came back to a lovely gift on the second day which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was another highlight - plentiful, fresh hot and cold food with a range of breads, we had planned to try breakfast somewhere else one day but it was so good at the hotel we didn't want to miss it! Finally, the location was perfect for us - a short walk to the Metro, Galata Tower and bridge along with many lovely shops, restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend and will definitely be starting at Meroddi Barnathan again.

Pros: best location; rooftop terrace that boasts spectacular views. lovely and cozy rooms, delicious breakfast featuring live music.

They made our stay very comfortable !

Pros: Stuff was really friendly and helpful. We rarely had the experience before that they always check on you if everything is ok or you need anything. Very grateful for their attention. Breakfast was amazing and the location was super practical and central.

Cons: It can get loud because of its very central location.

Pros: Like always everything was great. It was our third stay. Unfortunately we only stayed one night for the Galatasaray game. The staff is really polite and helpful. The restaurant is very good. Hope to come back in a short time

Perfect stay!

Pros: I loved my stay at this hotel. If you want to treat yourself to a classic and comfortable hotel experience in a grand environment, this is the place. The whole hotel is beautiful, the bed is comfy and I felt so at home. The staff are really helpful and kind. The view of the tower and the city and mosques on the horizon is so nice. Breakfast is amazing with so many options as well as freshly squeezed orange juice. The location is great. You’re in the middle of Galata (which is quite touristy), but you can easily walk to Cihangir, Karakoy and sultanahmet. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Pros: Very friendly and professional staff. They were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We also received a lovely welcome gift upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. The view of the Galata Tower was beautiful, and the room was very clean. Highly recommended!

Cons: The room was very beautiful and authentic — I loved the old Istanbul design, very pretty. However, it was quite small for the price. The ventilation noise sometimes bothered me during the night, but it wasn’t a major issue overall.

Pros: It was an amazing stay. This is the second time I am staying in this hotel and the service and beauty of the hotel is exactly the same (brilliant!). The staff are very kind, the rooms are comfortable and clean. It is beside Galata Tower, therefore, for tourists is the best location to all of the attractions. I went with my fiancé and my parents. The hotel sorted our transportation to and from the airport as well as keeping our bags safe even after checking out so we could walk around Istanbul before going to the airport. Bahar (HR admin) was so thoughtful and helpful, she even sent us some gifts to our rooms!! (As you can see on the pictures)

Pros: I like everything, it was my 4th time staying here. All the staff and especially Bahar they did everything to make our stay better.

Our family was very much pleased with the service provided by the hotel!
