Marmara Deluxe Hotel

A comfortable and memorable stay with excellent service and a perfect walking distance location.

Pros: The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent many famous attractions are within walking distance including Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. I even had the chance to perform Subuh prayer at Hagia Sophia just by walking from the hotel which was a very special experience. The tram station is also nearby making it very easy to get around the city. When we arrived the staff helped carry our luggage to the room which we really appreciated. On our last day, while waiting for our transportation they kindly served us tea and coffee. They also helped load our luggage into the van when we left. Such warm and thoughtful service made our stay even more memorable. Overall, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.

Cons: The breakfast options were limited but still acceptable.

Hotel MGT was very helpful as I had an autistic child.

Pros: Lokacija hotela je fantastična, osoblje vrlo uslužno, doručak solidan i manje-više uvijek možeš pronaći nešto što vam odgovara. Svaki dan smo imali čiste peškire u sobi. Kupatilo neobično i ok. Meni je bilo ok i postojanje dvije mačke u hotelu koje stvarno volim. Sve u svemu, za uloženi novac usluga je ok .

Cons: Zvučna izolacija nije baš najbolja i soba u kojoj smo smješteni je bila malih dimenzija u prizemlju. Klima koja je bila do našeg prozora je bila vrlo bučna. Morali ste navući zastor jer je soba mračna i tokom dana i pogled iz nje je u nivou balkona sobe iznad, tako da nemate neku privatnost ako je neko u toj sobi.

Pros: Hotel very well located at walking distance to most attractions in the old city and near metro, tramway and bus (Eminonu station) Very friendly staff and very professional shuttle service from the airport

Pros: The location is excellent! Close to major attractions and good restaurants. The breakfast is good, with some local options.

Cons: Room cleaning could be better. bed was a little noisy. The bathroom is a bit small. We also had an indirect problem. When leaving, we ask the reception to help us with a transfer to the airport, to be paid in a card. They helped us. The driver arrived on time. The moment we left the hotel, he stopped at an ATM. We explained that we would pay in a card and he could drop us. He insisted on taking us to the airport. When we arrived, he charged us extra. We tried to explain, but he didn't care. Started to get violent. We had two options. Pay the unfair value, or get fiscal with the driver. Very inconvenient situation. Since we had a flight to catch, we ended up paying the unfair price, but that got us really upset! Worst experience I had in 9 years using booking.com. I know it was not a service from the hotel, but they should be more careful selecting their partners. Just don't count on the reception, get an Uber and you'll be fine.
