Pros: The staff were very helpful, answered our confused questions and helped us booking a shuttle to the airport. The staff in the kitchen are also very lovely. The hotel's location is perfect, takes minutes to make it to the bridge and water, surrounded by a lively atmosphere and restaurants, and also close to where you can take the ferries so easy transport around the city. The room we stayed in was big and clean.

Cons: We had booked 1 room with 4 beds, which we got, but when you go into the room it's seperated into a bigger part that has a bed for 2 airconditioned, and a smaller room with two beds with no air conditioner, so i wish this was stated clearly on booking.com

Value for money!

Pros: Great location! Staff is nice too and helpful. Breakfast is pretty decent and also had some vegetarian options. Rooms were spacious, clean and all facilities were working fine. Well maintained property overall

Cons: Should provide 1-2 free water bottles for each night stay. I was only provided bottles on my first night and then I requested more at the reception next day.

Ipek palace is a lovely hotel with great staff in a beautiful city.

Pros: The hotel is lovely, staff are amazing and friendly. The location is the best thing about the hotel very close to shops, haggia sophia and topkapi palace is a short walk. Many restaurants just a few steps from front door and markets are close as well. The ferry port and river is only about a 15 minute walk. The hotel is kept very clean by the cleaners who are very attentive leaving fresh towels every day and checking room over.

Cons: The size of room was far too small for me and my husband . Not enough storage space either. If we go back I will definitely make sure the room is bigger.

Pros: Great staff and service. Staff always available to help. Great location to centre of Istanbul. Lovely buffet Turkish breakfast. Rooms cleaned everyday. My 2nd time choosing to stay here
