Pros: Wir hatten zwei Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung. Die Schlafzimmer waren hell, sauber, gut ausgestattet. Das Hotel liegt an der stark belebten Küstenstraße, beide Zimmer lagen aber nach hinten heraus und hatten einen Balkon mit Blick auf eine kleine Gartenanlage, so dass die Straße kaum zu hören war. Das Badezimmer des kleineren Zimmers war ausreichend groß, gut ausgestattet und sauber, das Badezimmer des größeren Zimmers war weiträumig und fast luxuriös mit schwarzem Marmor ausgekleidet. Genau gegenüber des Hotels liegt ein gutes Fischrestaurant direkt am Bosporus. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist etwa 100 m entfernt. Es gab ein leckeres lokales Frühstück. Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden und können das Hotel Mateo gerne weiter empfehlen.

Pros: Buona posizione, Hotel molto grazioso e molto pulito , ottima colazione, personale gentilissimo, discreto e attento. Un soggiorno di tre notti davvero piacevole

Great, renovated hotel on the Asian side of Istanbul

Pros: Breakfast is either served in the room or in the restaurant area. It's not a buffet, instead you get a nice assortment of vegetables and cheese on trays. The rooms are spacious and everything is newly renovated.

Cons: We were on the ground floor and we had ants pop up next to bathroom doors. Nothing a bit of hair spray couldn't fix, but we kept finding alates flying around which was slightly annoying.
