Vakko Hotel Sumahan Bosphorus

Pros: Nice view to Bosphorus. Silence and peaceful place service also great. Good experience. One of the reception staff Mohamad Emin young gentleman he helped us a lot. He spoke Arabic with us and when he around it was easy to communicate thanks to him and to hospitality of hotel.

Pros: I stayed at Vakko Sumahan Bosphorus Hotel for one day, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and very peaceful, with an amazing location right on the Bosphorus. Everything felt high quality and thoughtfully designed. I would especially like to thank Emin at the front desk, who was extremely kind and professional. He spoke Arabic, which made communication very easy and comfortable for me, and he was always helpful with a big smile. Even though my stay was short, it was very memorable, and I would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and excellent service in Istanbul.

A class above

Pros: We stayed for the weekend so I could compete in the European triathlon championships. We arrived late in Friday night and unfortunately my bike hadn’t been transported. We were warmly welcomed despite the late check in. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We had a tasty cocktail and delicious macarons left for us. Every detail was perfect. Having mentioned my lack of bike on check in I woke to find the hotel staff (Emre) had proactively sourced me a bike from a local bike shop. Arranged a taxi and made it possible for me to actually race which I didn’t think would be a possibility. It really was going above and beyond! The entire stay was wonderful. The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious and it really was a boutique hotel of the highest quality. It was significantly more expensive than most hotels in Istanbul, but it was worth it. It really was another level Thank you to Emre for his amazing service!

Cons: The sunset over the Bosphorus with a glass of wine or beer was wonderful

Quintessential stay, impeccable service and travelling in time in Istanbul.

Pros: This is truly a quintessential Istanbul experience—to travel back in time and stay in a historic building by the famous Bosphorus, reengineered once more recently and curated in detail by Vakko, one of the most elegant and famous fashion brands in Turkey. The location is perfect, the rooms are exquisite, and the staff is absolutely incredible! Special thanks to our Butler, Bilal, who thought about every little detail even before we arrived and made us feel like 17th-century Sultans. As a very frequent global traveller, I have never witnessed such elegance, attention to detail, and professionalism in any crew like I have experienced with Bilal and his colleagues at Vakko Hotel Sumahan. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros: The property is incredible! The rooms right on the sea are stunning and have a comfortable yet modern touch. It was a lovely break from busy downtown Istanbul!

Cons: Nothing! The staff is so accommodating and extremely friendly, flexible and welcoming! (My son was able to check out whenever suited him best, which was another lovely gesture!)

Pros: The hotel design is cozy n luxury which is suitable for someone looking for quiet luxury hotel style. The butler service offered bely the hotel is excellent. Mr Bilal who is my butler delivered a high standard, professional, helpful n warm service to me. He arranged a little birthday surprise for friend. he provided clear n detailed information n advices for my question on my travelling. Even I had left the hotel, he still extended his warm n friendly services by providing extra information for my stay in Fethiye. I felt the stay is warm n happy. I would also like to thank you Mr Gokay for his relaxed n happy attitude .

Perfect personalized experience!

Pros: Amazing! Gokay, Ilgaz, Bilal and the rest of the staff are world class. The views, location and comfort are perfect. They offer a boat to zip you quickly across to the European side, the breakfast is delicious accompanied by unbeatable view. The highlight was the in room steam bath after a long day of exploring. We will be back for sure!

Relaxing seaside stay

Pros: Seaside. Rooms are cosy staff and management extremely friendly and flexible Breakfast is five star Provide boat transfer to the other side of the Bosphuros free of charge

Pros: What I appreciated most about the hotel was its exceptional location directly overlooking the Bosphorus, which added a unique sense of beauty and tranquility to the stay. The breakfast was varied, carefully prepared, and served in a pleasant atmosphere. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the professionalism and kindness of the staff, especially Ibrahim, Bilal, and Ahmed Ameer. My special thanks go to Mr. Ibrahim for his exceptional courtesy and care, and for kindly driving us to the airport. It was a truly memorable stay, and I would be happy to return in the future.
