Hagia Irene Old City

Pros: Very good staff manager. Good communication. Lovely room with own bathroom. Good alot of hot water and heating in winter. Lovely bed. Perfect room. Location lovely quiet bit easy to get to tourist areas .

Cons: Nothing.

Good price to value ratio, helpful hosts, steep streets :)

Pros: Great price to value ratio. If you look for an affordable accomodation but still want to enjoy some comfort, this is a good choice! The rooms might be small, but if you plan an active stay with a lot of sightseeing and only going to the accomodation to sleep, it's absolutely enough. The hosts were always ready to help with any of our questions or requests. It is also relatively close to the old city centre. Overall we reccommend this place for your stay! :)

Cons: Even though the old city centre is a 20 minute walk away, that walk is on pretty steep cobblestone streets, so in rainy weather it's a bit uncomfortable. The closest tram station is also a 15 minute walk away from the accomodation. The hosts do not speak English, but it isn't really a problem, communication went quite smoothly using google translate. But overall, we recommend staying here :)

Pros: The view from the rooftop was amazing. And hakim, the owner is very gentle and accommodating. Rooms were cleaned daily and furnishings were nice and clean.

Pros: The people are nice and the rooms are nice, well located to the safe hotel close to transportation, restaurants, and the location is quiet. I loved it so much and I will be back again. I recommend it. 🥰

Pros: Our stay started with a small mix-up regarding our reservation, but the manager handled it promptly and professionally. The first room was not ideal, but after reporting an issue with the window, we were moved to a spacious and comfortable room, exactly as booked. The manager was very helpful throughout, while the receptionist was less proactive. Overall, once in the correct room, we enjoyed a pleasant stay

Cons: The first room was near the reception and a bit cold and the second room offered was older than expected and had some issues with the window. The receptionist was not very proactive, but the manager helped resolve everything.

Pros: An amazing option for staying in Istanbul, especially in terms of value for money. A small hotel right in the heart of the old city in the Sultanahmet area, yet the neighborhood itself is very quiet - you only hear the seagulls, as the seashore is very close. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the old city, with Hagia Sophia and other attractions just a short distance away. Right next to the hotel is the Kumkapi public transport stop, which is just one stop from Yenikapı metro station, so getting to the hotel on your own is very easy and convenient. The room has everything you need. The host was very responsive and helped with everything. I usually stay in different places every time I visit Istanbul, but here I’m ready to stay again on my next trip. Thank you very much!
