Pros: The hotel is located in the historical centre and it is only a few minutes away from seaside, optimal to take a walk enjoying the view along a comfortable promenade, and about 15 minutes from Sultanahmet and public transport. The streets around the hotel are quite narrow, so, there is no real traffic. Breakfast is excellent with a great selection of typical products: olives, cheeses, different kind of salads among others, but also Turkish pastries. It is nice to be able to use the breakfast room also during the rest of the day to make coffee or tea, while enjoying a quiet time and the amazing view. The terrace offers a stunning view on the sea and historical sites. In front there is also a nice small park. The personnel is extremely kind, helpful and considerate. You feel very well taken care of.

Cons: On the first days one of the guests was making some noise in the morning, like bad cough, not clear what it was. Unfortunately it was loud in my bathroom and very unpleasant to hear, but except for these two times it was always very quiet.

Easily one of the best trips of my life

Pros: Location is very pretty and convenient, the room is clean and nice, the staff is exceptional and very helpful, 10/10 experience.

Fantastic , a hidden gem and highly recommended

Pros: I am writing this as single traveller . The room was small but cosy, I went in the winter but the heating was on . I had a lovely balcony with a nice view . The breakfast was the best breakfast I had in terms of variety and taste and the balcony there had an astonishing view too . It was clean and cost friendly with very polite staff . I highly recommend ( this was the 7th or so hotel I’ve stayed in Istanbul ) it was also very close to the main tourist sites

Cons: Nothing that comes to mind at the moment maybe the immediate local area was somewhat isolated but it was a quiet back road to be fair

Wonderful small hotel with a friendly, welcoming staff and a breakfast to die for.

Pros: Great location in the historic district. Fantastic, friendly and informative staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast on the roof top terrace; with great views towards the Princes Islands. Get a room with balcony overlooking the park and sea.

Pros: Excellent Turkish traditional breakfast cooked by very friendly lady ! Great decor of the hotel and rooms. Walkable distance to majority attractions. On a quiet side of the Istmabul gueranted good night sleep.

Pros: We loved our stay at Saruhan Hotel. Extremely helpful staff, great location - only 10 minutes walk to the main attractions. Our room was just as described, bed very comfy, good shower, all very clean. We had beautiful views of the sea and Blue Mosque.

Cons: Nothing, all was great.

Great Experience

Pros: Cute heritage looking building. Close to all popular tourist sites, transport and eatery. The receptionists are so welcoming and professional. The cleaners are attentive and lovely. The Chef is so lovely always catering to everyone's needs as best as she can. Terrace view is beautiful. For the price and location great for tourist.

Cons: Would prefer larger room but Turkey rooms are probably smaller.

Had an excellent time and would definitely come back again.

Pros: The location was excellent with an amazing view There is a park in front of the hotel. And the breakfast was pretty good. The people are also very nice. Front desk folks are very helpful.

Cons: Balcony needs chairs instead of stools

Pros: Spacious and beautiful. No noise at night. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Cons: Not much variety for breakfast. Coffee machine was broken for a few days.
