Central location value for money

Pros: Location was great, literally facing Taksim square

Cons: Rooms are dated but still comfortable and clean, breakfast was alright

Pros: Location, accessibility, hotel decor (old Istanbul charm) and welcoming staff.

Cons: Breakfest was Oki but not great. More food variety would make better.

Pros: Very clean rooms and an excellent breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always checking if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable. The location is one of the best possible in Istanbul, within short distance of Beşiktaş and Eminönü, which offer ferry connections to all parts of the city—so traffic is never a concern. The hotel’s ambiance was also wonderful, with charming old-Istanbul vibes that made the stay even more special.

A good hotel, accessible location and value for money

Pros: The breakfast was v nice, fresh good variety and some items were changed daily to keep it interesting. The room was spacious and comfortable, cleaned well daily. The hotel is max 10mins walk from the airport shuttle bus stop and also 5mins walk to Taxsim/Istiklal street. If you're looking to explore Nisantasi, Galataport, Sisli etc neighbourhoods you're well placed because they're easy 45mins walks there. And of course the metro stop from Taxsim is also few steps away.

Cons: The staff were hit & miss some were friendly but mostly they were mechanical.

Vintage in the middle of everything

Pros: Location is great, central to a lot of places. Room was very nice and clean .. had an old/vintage feel to it which I liked :)

Cons: Not much really ... it was very good.

Pros: Everything was good, I was pleasantly surprised because I usually stay at other hotel, but it was fully booked

Cons: It was a bit too hot and the it was nit so easy to adapt the temperature

Convenient location

Pros: Easy to get around as the location is very strategic at Taksim - a few steps to the metro station, bus stops, funicular to Kabatas (where tram and ferry port are located) and airport shuttle. Our room has a nice view of Gezi park and a glimpse of Bosphorus. We also like the classical old style of the lobby.

Cons: I chose the hotel for breakfast at the rooftop, but it's not available during our more than a week stay. Pretty disappointing.

Pros: The location is amazing. So near to the Taksim train station. The room is a little small, but spacious enough for 1-2 person. Value for money 👍

Cons: The air-conditioning was not as cold as I wanted. Set it to 18C but felt like 25C.

Pros: 1. Great location close to Taksim Square and Havaist bus stop to and from IST airport. 2. The classical interior design is hard to come into now. 3. Spacious bath room.

Cons: Nothing. Pity that we did not try the breakfast since we set out exploring the city early and did not know when it started.
