Worth it and value for money

Pros: Has a perfect location near centre and easy access to many areas Also walkable from sightseeing. Good size rooms and clean. The terrace restaurant were the breakfast take place is amazing with a panoramic view of Istanbul and hayiasophia. Only for this worth to stay here. Staff is polite. For the price and the location value 10

Pros: We stayed at Anthemis Hotel Sultanahmet for our honeymoon, and it was truly a memorable experience. The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes’ walk to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. It’s also only a 1-minute walk to Sultanahmet Tram Station, which made getting around the city extremely convenient. Being able to step outside and immediately feel the history and charm of the area made our honeymoon even more special. Our room was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. It wasn’t huge, but it was very comfortable and perfect for the two of us. The bed was great, and everything felt fresh and well taken care of. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were always helpful with recommendations and directions, and their friendliness added a very personal touch to our stay. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good mix of Turkish and continental options, a lovely way to start each morning before exploring the city together.

Cons: Just a small note for future guests: our room was facing the street, so there was a bit of noise at times. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but light sleepers may want to request a quieter room.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay and would definitely choose this hotel again

Pros: Location was perfect for us being so near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. We could see them from our room plus glimpses of the sea. The breakfast buffet offered an exceptional choice of dishes and some different ones each day. Staff all very friendly and helpful. We felt they provided excellent service. The Massa Restaurant next door was excellent, both food and service, and a discount was offered to hotel guests.

Cons: Only niggle was one of the patio doors in our room was misted which spoilt the great view a little. It should be replaced.

Came to stay for second time

Pros: We've stayed here for the second time, back to back in two years. The location is amazing, and the staff of course, very welcoming and helpful and highly supportive.

Cons: Breakfast could be better, as it was the previous year. Few additional options can be introduced considering the adjoining hotels elsewhere have better breakfast.

An excellent stay with a phenomenal location and stunning views, slightly let down by a recurring washroom odor but bala

Pros: The biggest highlight of this hotel is its unbeatable location. It is literally within walking distance of Istanbul’s most iconic and tourist-friendly spots like Viyana Kahvesi, Hafiz Mustafa, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and the tram stations, which made sightseeing extremely convenient. The bistro right next to the hotel is another major plus — great ambiance and food, and super handy after long days of exploring. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking and truly unforgettable. The staff were attentive and responsive whenever issues were raised.

Cons: The main drawback was the washroom odor. In the mornings, there was a strong and unpleasant smell that lingered until the washroom was thoroughly cleaned, making it quite uncomfortable. However, to their credit, the staff addressed the issue whenever it was reported and ensured proper cleaning.

Pros: Superb! The reception was fantastic and very helpful!

Anthemis perfection

Pros: Cannot fault The Anthemis Hotel. People are super lovely and helpful. The place is very clean. Excellent location for Sultan Ahmet Square, the blue mosque, Hagia Sofia and Basilica Cistern. Massage Bistro next door gives a discount to guests. Highly recommend a visit there too.

Good stay for a low budget

Pros: Location is amazing - in the very city center, close to the T1 traim, to metro and to havaist bus, and to the historic places. For the low season is great, but I would not choose it in summer, when overcrowded. The prices in the area are also higher than in the other coasts of Istanbul. The room setup is nice, room has all essentials, they cleaned it every day and filled with water bottles. The terrace view is great. The restaurant in the ground floor offering 20% discount and the food is decent.

Cons: The room soundproof is bad, you can hear everything from the streets. Breakfast is not good. It offers a variety of plates but in the end many options that are not eatable. The biggest problem to me was meat, there were only 2 options of Turkish ham, which are not tasty at all.
