A clean comfortable and welcoming hotel in a buzzing area
Pros: I like the Bosphorus view from my little balcony and the breakfast room. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff ensured that I had what I needed for my dietary requirements. It was only a few steps away from the main shopping area and a 15 min walk from Taksim Square. An ideal central location.
Cons: There was a lot of noise from clubs and bars below the property. There was also a fire ladder leading up to the balcony which made me feel a little unsafe as a solo traveller.

Pros: Hotel Gentle Tom We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Clean rooms , comfortable beds, lovely smelling sheets. Every day new set towels which was not really necessary, but it is, of course , individual choice. Good breakfast on the rooftop with beautiful view over the old city of Istanbul. Very friendly personal. Hotel is situated on very busy street but with the windows closed, it wil not bother you at all. We liked it ! Every day fresh water , coffee and tea and cold drinks for free !! The location of hotel is excellent, public transportation as well. Our tip : take a boat(ferry) to Asian side of the city, Kadıköy, for instance, for very little money. Well worth visiting. Galata tower and Taxim sq. is 10 min of walk away and Istiklar st. is around a corner.

Cosy place but noisy on the weekends
Pros: Great location, cosy & clean room, friendly people! I had a challenging situation: I left my passports in the safe and the employee at the reception managed to organise the delivery in a timely manner to the airport. I am super grateful for this help!!!
Cons: I stayed one night on Saturday and it was party time. The sound coming from the street was super loud! The breakfast was a little bit more modest than I expected.

Pros: There are plenty of things I loved about the hotel: the location, the view from the terrace, the design, comfortable beds, how clean the room was, and how friendly everybody was. I really recommend this place! It was worth every penny!
Cons: It was a bit loud but thanfully street noises don't stop me from sleeping :)

Pros: Beautiful, comfortable and spacious room with a lovely view. Great breakfast selection and good location.
Cons: We weren’t bothered by this but the hotel is in a very lively area so keep this in mind if you prefer quiet evenings :)

Great location in vibrant area.
Pros: Great location, especially if you like small cafe's, bars and shops. Some nice little restaurants along the road, although the road is quite steep so would not suit anyone with mobility issues if you intend to walk from the hotel. Within 2 minutes, you're on a great shopping street and there are bazaars, bars and restaurants in several directions. The hotel itself is small, but nicely decorated and the staff are really helpful. The breakfast was decent, but in staying a week, became a bit repetitive.
Cons: The back of the hotel overlooked a busy bar which was loud towards the end of the week and weekend. If you like nightlife, this shouldn't be a problem, but it's not a place for those who want to be asleep by 10pm.
