Pros: Maroon Tomtom stands out with its central location in the heart of Istanbul, in the Tomtom neighborhood. It is within walking distance of important spots such as Istiklal Street, Galata, and Şişhane, making it very easy to explore the city. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, doing their best to ensure guests feel comfortable. The rooms feature a modern and stylish design, and are clean and comfortable. The breakfast receives praise for its fresh and varied options. In addition, the hotel’s warm and boutique atmosphere makes the stay memorable, turning it into more than just an ordinary hotel experience. In terms of value for money, it is very satisfying; its central location and high-quality service more than justify the price

Pros: Maroon Tomtom Hotel has an excellent location within walking distance of Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. Its central position makes transportation very easy, and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, with especially cozy beds. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The breakfast is tasty and satisfying. Considering the price and quality, it offers great value for money in Istanbul. Overall, it provides a pleasant, safe, and comfortable stay, and it is definitely a hotel worth choosing again

Pros: Amazing location. Half a minute from Zara & great street in Taxim. Room number 803 is amazing. Clean, nice view, very nice service and staff (reception & breakfast service & the room cleaning is good). Good Turkish breakfast. See you soon again.

Good stay. Worth the price!

Pros: The hotel is actually very worth for money. It is located right inside the Taksim area. The breakfast is fantastic, wish I could ask for a second helping. For the price offered and the hotel and room type, most other hotels only offer a single bed but this room came with a double bed. Room size was good too. This is the only hotel I have come across that did room cleaning service even on the morning of the day before I checked out. Love the retro-style elevator. Staff from the check-in, housekeeping service and kitchen are very friendly and nice.

Cons: Although I mentioned the location is good, it is very hard to find at first. I tried taking a taxi there but the GPS brought us in circles and I later found out why - the hotel is located along an alley. Booking.com states that there is an airport shuttle service, but there isn't any. It also states free toiletries but I had to buy a toothbrush and toothpaste because I was on a long transit and these stuff were in my checked-in bags. Water supply was disrupted for a few hours, but I am guessing that was just a one-off incident.

Pros: The night manager Ali was exceptionally great with his behaviour.

A solid property with some issues

Pros: The location is both good and bad. The proximity to İstiklal Street makes access to popular tourist places a breeze. The staff are lovely. The room was clean when I arrived.

Cons: The location comes with a local nightclub that blasts music until the wee hours. Not the hotel’s fault, but try to get a back room if you are a light sleeper. Housekeeping is a lottery. Some days no-one would show up, and other days the room servicing was perfunctory at best. I think the wet areas were cleaned only on the last day of a 12 night stay. This needs to be fixed for me to rate higher. And lastly breakfast is the same every single day. Not a biggie, but just be aware of it if you are staying for a lengthy time like I was.
