Endican Sultanahmet Hotel

Excellent stay with excellent and friendly staff.

Pros: Neat and stylish interior both for the room and bathroom.

Cons: Unable to adjust heating/cooling - got very hot in the evenings and sleeping with the balcony door open in winter is not a good idea. It would be great if we could adjust the temperature as we wanted it to be. The internet could have been a bit better too, it often buffered while trying to watch YouTube on the TV or when trying to get some work done on my laptop.

Superb location & friendly and helpful staff

Pros: Location was great... -very near to tram station -a lot of restaurants/coffee, supermarket/shop near by... -5 min walking to Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Arastaa Bazar, Hagia Sophia & other beautiful mosque/landmarks Very friendly & helpful frontdesk personnel with a lot of tips to explore Istanbul & other areas

Cons: - quite small room for a triple room standard & no view from the room - no rooftop restaurant for this hotel

Pros: Super central, everything you need within walking distance (grocery store, bakery, restaurants, cafes, tram stop). Close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia.

Cons: The safe didn’t work and the AC/ thermostat was set to a certain temperature over winter. It got quite warm at night (even in February).

Good choice for a short stay

Pros: The property is located close to main tourist attractions (Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque). There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Cons: My room was at first floor and there was no natural light through the window. It is not isolated well and you can hear noises. There was no breakfast option.

Friendly staff, great stay!

Pros: The location is top notch, the staff was very kind and informative, transfer arrangements made prior to arrival, got us a SIM card, also made cruise bookings for us. Thank you!!

Pros: I recently stayed at Endican Hotel in Sultanahmet and had an excellent experience. The hotel’s location is outstanding, in the heart of the old city, within walking distance of the tram station and major historical sites. The hotel is small, clean, and comfortable. Although our room was modest in size, it felt welcoming and homely. The environment allows for a peaceful and enjoyable stay without distractions. The staff were very professional and friendly. In particular, Hüsnü bey went above and beyond: when we accidentally left a small bag behind, he contacted us immediately, allowing us to return and retrieve it. This level of care and integrity made a strong impression. I highly recommend Indijan Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul and will certainly choose to stay here again.

Great location , lovely clean hotel

Pros: Ideal location , a short walk to main attractions and surrounded by many cafes and restaurants

Cons: Rooms quite small though not too much of an issue as only really used for sleeping

Pros: We had the best possible experience during our stay in Endican Sultanahmet Hotel in Istanbul. The staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and always ready to help, offering great advice on local attractions and things to see. The location of the hotel is very convenient — close to many restaurants, shops, and public transport options. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with a lovely street view. The hotel also arranged transport to and from the airport, which made our trip so much easier. We were even offered a late check-out, which was a nice touch. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely return on our next visit to Istanbul. Highly recommended!

Cons: Nothing at all.

Pros: Very accommodating staff. The stay was excellent as it’s near to places we want to visit. Tram station like 2 mins walk only, a lot of restaurant and has supermarket just in front of hotel— very accessible. We recommend this to other travellers. 💯
