Pros: In particular the staff were exceptional in making our stay special. Nothing was too much trouble & we were always greeted with a smile & friendly chat. Excellent location for the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia & Grand Bazaar in particular.

Lovely hotel, great spot. No spa.

Pros: Location was great. Staff were very helpful. Bathroom was spacious. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons: Spa wasn’t working the whole time we were there. From desk kept saying it would be fixed the next day, but it wasn’t. Offered to book us into a local spa instead, but they couldn’t find anywhere. On check out, offered us free massages if we came back in the future.

Perfect location for Istanbul wanderers

Pros: Very attentive and helpful staff. Location is absolutely perfect. Walking-distance to the all must-visit locations in Fatih. Very well connected by public transportation for all other things.

Outstanding service, perfect location, and a truly memorable stay

Pros: We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Golden Royal Hotel! From the moment we booked, the communication was outstanding, and we were made to feel truly special and welcomed like royalty. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and a great start to each day. The location could not be better, perfectly situated close to major tourist attractions and the tram station. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always eager to help with any queries, going above and beyond to ensure our stay in Istanbul was unforgettable. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

The hotel was exceptionally clean; everything was spotless and very well maintained at all times. All members of staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. The breakfast was varied, fresh, and absolutely delicious, offering something for everyone. A very special mention goes to Ersin, the receptionist. He was outstanding – warm, kind, extremely helpful, and very child-friendly. Thanks to him, our stay was elevated to a completely different level. His positive attitude and genuine care made a lasting impression on us. We would return to this hotel again and again, especially because of Ersin. An outstanding hotel with exceptional service – highly recommended!
