Memorable historic hotel

Pros: Room is spacious. Staff are great. They are friendly and helpful. Location is a bonus point because near to the main attractions of Sultan Ahmet. I will definitely come back here again. Breakfast is great too!

Close to the main attractions and OK for just a short stay.

Pros: The strongest feature of the hotel is its wonderful location. The main attractions are at the walking distance. The check in was quick, the personnel was friendly. The breakfast was included, it did not vary from day to day but was quite substantial, it was possible to have the food to one's liking. The towels were changed every on a daily basis.

Cons: I reserved de luxe room for two. The photo on the site and the room in reality did not match. The shower cabin was with mold. It would be nice to have a hanger for the coats. Not quite higenic to place the wet coats into the wardrobe with other clothes

Very nice budget option to be in the center of Sultanahmet

Pros: The staff was friendly and the room very enjoyable. The breakfast was very decent and a nice mix of turkish and europeen option. It is a perfect budget option to be in the center of Sultanahmet and be able to reach in 5 to 10 min all the main touristic attraction.

Pros: Extra- perfect location! Just few steps from main landmarks. Great rooms, you can find here everything you need. I lived there on my own and my parents were in another room, so there is enough space for 2 as well. Great breakfasts. Perfect place for this price. Totally recommend

Cons: The hairdryer wasn’t working (it heated too quickly and too much so I was afraid it will burn in my hands😁), but I used hairdryer in parent’s room

Pros: The accommodation was great, the location was perfect close to most of the main attractions and great restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons: We stayed in the room above the kitchen, and it was quite noisy in the early mornings. But other than that there is no negatives.

Great stay in Old Istanbul

Pros: Great location, peaceful and quiet but close to Hagia Sofia and other monuments. We got a great deal through booking and the staff were very friendly.

City break to Istanbul

Pros: Brilliant location, short walking distance to the majority of famous sites, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern. Grand Bazzar and Spice Bazzar are a slightly longer walk but easily achieved with an online map and plenty to see on the way.

Cons: Beds were rather soft for my liking but were made with good quality linen. The decor in the hotel was very quirky( a positive!) But the rooms were not soundproofed, as stated on the website, so a call to prayer at 05.30am each morning along with traffic noise throughout the night was a little disturbing. But that's city living and we embraced it for the few days we were there.

Misleading, but luckily lovely place either way

Pros: Beautiful hotel with a very special location which has so much going on during day but completely quiet and comfortable to sleep in at night. Deluxe room was spacious and comfortable with lovely view into the garden and I loved the little luxuries of feather duvet, the smell of the shower products, shower design with old time charm, quiet but efficient airconditioning and the design of having TV hidden inside a mirror to name a few. We also appreciated the complimentary water bottles and coffee and tea at room as well as reception. Staff was very friendly and helpful and helped us arrange a breakfast earlier than the normal start (which would have been only at 8:00) so that we can have a bite before going to airport.

Cons: Extremely misleading information is given about the rooms - do not trust the photos or the description or book solely based on them! Our Deluxe room did not have a balcony although I specifically booked the Deluxe for it and requested the room with the balcony in comments as well. At check in turned out that the whole hotel apparently has only 1 balcony like in the photos and also all the photos displayed are from different rooms. Nothing was done to compensate for the misleading and staff did not seem to want to take resposibility or ensure action to improve the ad even though they knew that this is not the first time it has happened. It is such a shame as it is a beautiful boutique style hotel which in itself has nothing wrong with it other than that I think balcony rooms should be in a separate room choice as it is a special feature which is not the same thing as different furniture design. There was also other minor misleading information eg the mention about the Molton Brown spa products or minibar. There was no Molton Brown products and minibar was empty. All in all it is really frustrating and worrysome to start thinking that if all hotels would act like them and you can no longer trust anything about what you book.

Pros: The personal was super nice and helpful. Plus the place is really beautiful

Cons: Since it's an old building, you can hear everything from the other rooms, even if they walk, which can definitely be uncomfortable

Wonderful hotel I would like to stay in for next visits.

Pros: Perfect cosy place in the very heart of old Istanbul. Helpful staff, rich breakfast, clean stylish room with air conditioning and little fridge. Be careful - the bed is sooo soft and comfortable that you fall asleep just touching it)) I'm looking forward to staying here again!

Cons: Mind staircases in the building and muezzin singing regularly in the nearby mosque. For us particularly it didn't cause any problem.
