Orient Occident Hotel Istanbul

Pros: I was blown away by the hospitality. The design is stunning, but it’s the staff that really makes it feel special. It’s rare to find a place that feels this welcoming and curated at the same time. I am planning to come back to Istanbul with my family and stay here. The Turkish style breakfast is super, must try. The view also perfect.

Pros: Staff was really kind and helpful. Breakfast á la carte on the rooftop terrace with amazing view was gorgeous every morning!

Little gem of a hotel with caring staff

Pros: Room was decorated romantically, breakfast options were lovely, beautiful top roof views, location amazing for Marmara, Team and Taxi. Friendly staff. Thanks to Zeynap and Nikki. It is located on a quiet street but the hustle and bustle is nearby and located close to all tourist attractions within 5 to 10 minute travel either by foot or public transport.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Beautiful Istanbul visit

Pros: Excellent service. Great fitness centre. Roof top breakfast was a beautiful experience each day.

Perfect stay in the heart of Istanbul

Pros: The service and the hospitality was amazing. We drove a rental car, and initially this was my biggest worry about getting parking and getting to the hotel. The hotel contacted us ahead of time and gave us a parking lot location nearby and had Mr.Berat welcomed us at the parking lot and walked us to the hotel. Greatly appreciate Mr.Berat for accompanying us! The room was spacious and clean and had everything we need. We also love the room design, modern but unique. The hotel is also right in the middle of the old town. We walked for all the attractions in the old town and also a quick walk to a tram station. Everything we comfortable and convenient.

Great location, amazing roof terrace

Pros: The location was fantastic as were the staff at reception who were very welcoming and professional. Turkish breakfast on the roof top terrace was amazing.

Cons: There was a manager person in the rooftop restaurant who made us feel very unwelcome. The toilet in our bedroom was in a glass box and wasn't exactly private!

Great stay in Istanbul

Pros: Amazing location, the staff was super helpful and friendly, and the breakfest was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel

Pros: Hotel was excellent, rooms fantastic, staff couldn’t have been better. Would absolutely recommend to others. Rooftop bar/restaurant was amazing and the icing on the cake, where you could enjoy breakfast in the sun with a fantastic view of the river and the surrounding mosques.

Cons: WiFi wasn’t free. Should be easier to get online. TV had very standard channel package so a bit disappointing. Hotel dinner menu choice was very limited (but food was excellent)

Excellent stay, and a good deal

Pros: Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfasts! Excellent location

Cons: No view from the room I got, But that was expected

Pros: For 250 eur/night it was very good. Breakfast was really nice and tasty with proseco. Location also was very good, on quite street next to main buz. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Cons: Bathroom and toilet with glass walls was not preferred option but was ok. 17 eur for gin and tonic is expensive even for European standards.
