Reu de Hotel

Pros: The rooms are very nice, stylish, and also very clean.

Cons: It's a bit noisy in the weekends

Pros: Really cute little hotel in an exceptional location. The manager was really helpful!

Cons: The lighting wasn’t great in the property and it was not very well sound proofed - would recommend earplugs for sleeping especially as there is a noisy bar around the corner.

Happy to have stayed here.

Pros: Location was excellent. Liked the kettle at the entrance. Place has soul. Though the neighbourhood is a bit noisy, it did not bother me one bit.

Cons: Just one lightbulb still functioning in the room. Hard to read a book at night. It's a shame because so easy to fix. No person to talk to. No phone number to call.

Great host, great location and great stay!

Pros: Our host, Emrullah, was very helpful. He even upgraded our room. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The location couldn't have been better. The price was good, too. Thank you, Emrullah, for this very pleasant stay!

Great and comfortable base to explore Istanbul

Pros: Super good location, close to public transport, lovely building . Great base to explore beautiful Istanbul. Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean and super comfortable bed . Excellent value for money. I would definitely stay there again.

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay in Reu de hotel!! I loved the artistic bohemian atmosphere that brings up the whole mysterious vibe of Istanbul city, the artistic lively neighborhood really added to it the perfect background. I felt welcome and safe throughout my whole stay ❤️ i would recommend it and prefer it every time. 🥰

Pros: Emrullah, Yacob, Adam and Judy are the most wonderful people in the world, so kind , helpful and friendly the people who run Reu is what made me love it, that along with the most amazing location in Istanbul, in the very heat of Tophane! with Tophane tram being very close by makes the whole city accessible and again you are smack dab in the middle of hip Tophane one of , if not the coolest place to stay in glorious Stamboul :)

Cons: 5 flights of stairs were very hard for me to navigate so just be aware of this, the location and the wonderful team of people running the place however made the pain worth it lol

Historic Istanbul vibes, and then some…

Pros: Absolute insane value for money. Property has vibes for days; if you want a full, historic Istanbul feel look no further - the perfect boutique balance of character with suitable modernisation where required. It’s also in the bougier, cooler part of Taksim - bars, restaurants and indie shops are as plentiful as they are interesting. So, although Reu doesn’t have a bar, room service etc (and if they're not around they're very good on WhatsApp TBF), there’s genuinely no need, everything is on the doorstep.

Cons: Nothing I personally didn’t like, but the property is old, a bit wobbly and over six steep floors, elderly or people with mobility issues may want to keep it in mind. However, that being said, a first floor request would offer a solution.

Overall great!

Pros: Great location, very comfy/cozy room, clean and basically provide everything you need. The staff is very helpful and responsive.

Cons: This hotel is located near some night clubs, which plays loud dancing music till late night(maybe 2:00am), if you are a early sleeper or a light sleeper, you'll find it unbearable even with earplugs. I think that's the only complaint I have about this place. Other than this, it was a great experience.

Pros: I liked the location of the hotel, the atmosphere of the room was tremendous and we had no problems with cleanliness. Everything was very nice. Thank you Alp for making us feel nice, safe and at home.
