Pleasant stay

Pros: Excellent bedding. Staff well trained and professional

Cons: I struggled to fall asleep because there are too many green lights from the control panels for lighting a the AC. Not sure how these can be turned off tho

Pros: The initial room was not very good. There were some issues with the bathroom. We were upgraded to a great room with living room and balcony. It was great.

Overall, I am pleased with my stay at Sofitel.

Pros: Location OK Possibly more food selection to cater to Asian travelers

Cons: Front desk staff especially the ones servicing check-in quests should be more attentive to customers' needs especially from Asia. Having a friendly disposition and cheerful greetings to all quests should make the difference.

Pros: The place that is worth every riyal you pay, whether it is a very wonderful website, services or dealing with the ethics of the employees, especially thanks and appreciation of Mrs. Khadija in the reception for the great manners, high treatment, her high humanity, her dealing with the elderly, the wonderful language of communication and her proficiency in Arabic. She helped us several times. Every thanks to her. She must be a front of the hotel like her, especially thanks to Mrs. Kubra for her high-class treatment, her permanent smile and the splendor of her morals, and I do not forget Mr. John for his constant help to us. I recommend this hotel

Great time in Sofitel Istanbul Taxim!

Pros: Location, comfort, cleanliness, very friendly & really helpful staff. Asu from SPA Team was amazing. Super-strong recommendation to everyone: try the spa service at Sofitel Istanbul Taxim - it’s really worth it! Great experience Sofitel, we’ll be back!

Cons: Hotel can be a bit noisy (late at night/early morning) - but we didn’t mind that at all, hence not a true “didn’t like”. Hairdressers at Sofitel Istanbul Taxim were unfortunately not great at all compared to all other services in the hotel. The quality of service is not at the standard expected for Sofitel (or anywhere). They charge double price compared to the prices outside of the hotel and they also request additional 200TL if you want to pay them by card. Although, they are polite.
