Neutral experience

Pros: The location to Taksim square is excellent. The man at the front desk helped us when my friend got pickpocketed at Sisli station. He told us what to do. The hairdryer didn't work in the bathroom but another man at the front desk gave us one to use that worked. The hotel is fantastic value for money.

Cons: There was mold on the floor in the shower which was not cleaned for all the days that we stayed there. However, the mold was not near any parts that the body would touch while showering. The room was not functional enough to use the chair because it was too small and the table was not fixed properly - in fact it was wobbly. The same man at the front desk who helped us said that the taxi would cost €40 to the Sabiha Gokcen airport and it would take 2 hours maximum. The taxi driver told us that it will take 2.5 hours but if we pay toll fees of 700 lira it will be shorter when I showed him the fastest route on Google Maps. I don't know if the front desk and him did this type of corruption together, or if the driver was corrupt by himself, because this is a common taxi scam in Istanbul for taxi drivers. We paid the money because my friend was worried since the national ID card was stolen when the pickpocketing happened at Sisli station, so we didn't know if they would allow boarding the flight without it. The hotel should tell people about this with the taxis if it is not their fault.

Value for money

Pros: The hotel is located very close to Taksim Square, making it easily accessible and convenient. The rooms are small but clean, cozy, and perfectly suitable for solo travelers or a family of two. The property is well maintained, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. They arranged airport pick-up for us and even offered free Turkish tea at the reception whenever we stepped out for a smoke or simply passed by. Overall, it’s great value for money—an ideal choice if you plan to spend most of your time sightseeing and just need a comfortable place to rest and sleep.

Cons: The room can be a bit noisy at times, as you can hear car sounds from the street.

Pros: This is my third time staying at this hotel. I'm pleased with the hotel's good location and the delicious and filling breakfast. I'd especially like to thank the hotel staff – they're very friendly and helpful with any questions about transportation, the city, and recommending affordable and delicious places to eat. The staff is excellent!

Not exactly a quiet place.

Pros: We booked in September a triple room for two adults and a child for one night. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro and Taksim Square, although getting there requires a 45-degree climb up a hill. We were greeted very warmly at reception. The hotel has an elevator, which is very convenient. We were on the penultimate floor. The room itself is quite large. The only drawback is that the bathroom is separated from the room by glass. It was great that the room had a balcony.

Cons: But the most interesting thing is that noise from a disco on a high floor of a shopping center continues until late at night, and early in the morning, a very loud call to prayer comes from a mosque speaker. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Pros: Very good location near Taksim, all amenities, comfortable beds, great and responsive staff

Cons: Breakfast was average

Pros: First of all, the hotel is really great. Everything in the room was refreshed daily, and they were very meticulous about cleanliness. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries and cakes every day, and you could order a hot omelet at no extra cost. Overall, I was very satisfied with the breakfast. The location is also excellent — close to the seaside, the metro, Istiklal Street, and Galata Tower. There is a steep uphill road leading to the hotel, but we got used to it quickly since many areas in Istanbul are similar. Although it’s located in the heart of Taksim, we were never disturbed by noise because it’s on a quiet street. Lastly, I would like to thank the gentleman at the reception — he was always kind and did his best to help us.

Pros: The hotel is lovely and located in a peaceful area. Although it’s in a quiet street, it’s only a 5-minute walk from the metro and the ferry. The staff were extremely polite and respectful, and they helped us with everything we needed.

Pros: We've been coming to this hotel for three years now, maybe even more. The hotel is conveniently located on a quiet street, just off the bustling Istiklal Avenue, but the hotel itself is quiet. Breakfasts are good, and the Turkish coffee before breakfast is delicious! There are grocery stores nearby, including fruit and beer. A cafe serving meatballs and other dishes will soon open at the hotel. Special thanks to the hotel staff; many speak our language! The hotel staff is very helpful! Great Volcan (the night reception staff) helps with taxis and other things, and the daytime reception staff is also very helpful, helping us with Turkish coffee and telling us about Galata Port. We even buy some things there. Wow, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Istanbul and this hotel.

Cons: This hotel is conveniently located, within easy reach of the island stop, Istiklal Street, Galata Tower, the tram that goes to the Egyptian and Grand Bazaars, and Laleli. The street is very quiet, the neighbors are quiet, and there are many families.

Pros: I stayed in a beautiful room with a balcony and sea view. The hotel was very meticulous about cleanliness, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.
