Hotel Torun Istanbul Old City

Great value for money during autumn and winter seasons.

Pros: Generally the best possible at its price point, no complaints.

Cons: Tap water isn't potable in Istanbul so i think a 1 liter jug of filtered water can be provided. The curtains weren't exactly blackout curtains, which i believe would be helpful in its location.

Price is good and reasonable for the room, bed is comfy and close to transportation.

Pros: 5 minutes away from the tramvay and bus stop and around 10-15 walking distance to the metro. Area is nice.

Cons: It would be better to add a water bottle and a kettle in the room, with a cup and some tea. Garbage and cleaning should be done daily, not every 2 days.

Pros: The apartment was clean, newly renovated, but there was a little space. The staff was friendly, helped us with everything.

Istanbul on a budget

Pros: Stayed here for 1 night as a stopover on a flight, I hired a car & took advantage of the free parking around. Perfect stay slept like a log. The shower worked with good pressure. Ill be booking my return stopover at the same place.

Cons: There was road works in the area so not always Google maps knows that so be cautious

Warm Staff, Clean Room — But Some Room for Improvement

Pros: The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and cool, even without the AC. I have a nice view of the mosque as well.

Cons: I didn’t like that there was no elevator only stairs, which made carrying luggage a bit difficult. The breakfast could also be improved. It would be nice to have more variety, especially some fruit options.

Pros: The metro and tram are a short walk away so convenient for getting around, breakfast provided a good start to the day. Everything was in good order in the room and the shower was good, I think it was good value and the staff were friendly also.

I liked this hotel. It has a convenient bed, good bathroom.

Pros: Good location (near tram stop T1), kindly and helpful stuff, good breakfast, good price.

Price is very fair, breakfast good

Pros: Easy Check-in & Check-out. Taxi Service very good and not as expensive as normal taxis. Breakfast (7:00-10:00) had good variety of regional food despite being just a small buffet. Near to restaurants. Near to Tramway and Busstation. Personel is very friendly and speaks english fluently.

Cons: Street gets a little loud in the evening.

Pros: After spending a week at the hotel, we are overall very satisfied with the service (Mr Cengiz and the night reception boy were very attentive), the breakfast was varied and very good, and the location is 1 min from the metro. It was very pleasant.

Nice stay

Pros: We felt good at this hotel. It is a hotel that, although it is not in the city center, it is very easy to reach the ferry and the central area, but also in other areas of the city, we even walked to the central area. The normal breakfast, which fills you up. The room is small, but clean, as is the bathroom. There are many local restaurants in the area where you can eat at very good prices, compared to the city center. The friendly and bouncy staff, and the nice cat and the little one was delighted with it. It is not a luxury hotel, it is a normal budget hotel
