A diamond in sultanahmet

Pros: The hotel is very close to the centre of sultanahmet. 10 minutes on foot.the room we booked was very big with sea view to Bosporus with all comforts we need! Breakfast had a variety of choices! The most important, the staff very polite and gave us information and suggestions about what we can do!! If I travel again in Istanbul I would stay definitely at Atam hotel!

A clean and comfortable hotel in a perfect central location

Pros: The hotel has a very central location, within walking distance of the main attractions, which made exploring the city very easy. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was very good with a nice selection, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Everything was very clean, which we really appreciated.

Cons: The room looked slightly better in the photos than in reality, and the view from the window was not very appealing, but these were very minor things.

Pros: The host of the hotel was very helpful and friendly. He provided us with everything we needed. The hotel was in a good location, the room was clean and comfortable! Thank you very much — we would definitely choose it again for our next visit.

Cons: The WiFi signal could be improved

Fantastic hotel, affordable and very nice to stay, great breakfast minutes walk from the Blue Mosque

Pros: The room is beautiful, comfortable and has a very nice view. The breakfast is the best, the lady from Kazakhstan in charge of the kitchen was very lovely and accommodating. The location is fantastic, it's a few minutes walk to the Blue Mosque. The bazaar is also on the way to the mosque. Highly recommend and will stay again when my family and I visit again in the future.

Cons: Might be good to replace the shower head.

Very nice stay, very good location

Pros: Very friendly staff, nice family ! The room was big and confie although the furniture were not new. The breakfast was good (home made mainly) with some changes everyday: it would be appreciated to have some more fruits, honey comb, Turkish pastries some days :)

Best stay in Istanbul. Hospitality at its Best.

Pros: I can't recommend this hotel enough! The service was impeccable, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast spread was delicious with plenty of local options. Its central location literally 5 min away from Sultan Ahmet mosque and a sea view, made it the perfect home base for exploring Istanbul. A huge thank you to the team for making our stay so special—we will definitely be back. A special thanks to Berat for accommodating us with such lovely hospitality. He also gave us presents on leaving. 💕

Cons: The only drawback was the noise at night, but we were super close to the sea so birds were very loud. So I wont count it as a minus.

Nice nice

Pros: Very nice small hotel in the very good location, literally 5 mins by walk from Blue Mosque. We were 3 women in 1 room and could fit comfortably, room was quite spacious. Stuff is very helpful, caring. Breakfast was ok, could ask for omelette also. They can order transfer. They have lift in the building, it was important point for my mother.

Cons: Down on the street under the windows of our room there was table, where always somebody was smoking till late night, so smoke came up to the room. We like to sleep with open windows and non smokers - it was disturbing (But smell of smoke somehow is common problem in the Istanbul)

Good one night stopover

Pros: Good location and suitable for a one night stopover in Istanbul. Nice Turkish breakfast included.

Cons: TV channel selection even though it wasn’t so important for us.

Great Litte Hotel

Pros: Great location as short walk to Hagia Sofia and Blue mosque. Wonderful home cooked breakfast buffet. Clean rooms and all the amenities available.

Cons: Third floor didn't have lift and needed to climb one set of stairs. Not a deal breaker. But after long day of exploring and walking sometimes you are too tired to climb the stairs.
