Eliza Hotel

Pros: Everything was great. We had a wonderful stay in Eliza Hotel. The staff and managers are very friendly, thanks to Eren, Enes, Ramazan and all the staff for their hospitality. The location is great, as it is very peaceful and quaint for a good night sleep, with all the Sultanahmet attractions within walking distance. Many nice restaurants and interesting shops just a few minutes walk from the hotel to the main road, and the tram station very near if you need to travel further away. The beads are very comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the daily room service was good. The breakfast was also delicious with a good variety. The staff are friendly, and they get out of their way to help with anything needed including booking of transport which they made seamless. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely be coming back to this wonderful hotel.

Pros: Personnel is helpful and speaks good English! Room was big enough for 3 persons with two double beds. It was clean and they changed the towels daily (we did not asked for that - it was greatly appreciated) they also provide shampoo, body detergent, slippers for the room. The location is great - the hotel is close to the sea and 10 min walking from the Blue Mosque, Saint Sophia, Basilica cisterna and toptaki palace. Tram stop is 5 minutes walking and the area is full of stores and places where to eat. It is indeed a tourist area so be careful ;) Breakfast is okay nothing special but provided everything! Nice to know, they kept our luggages (for free) before we head to the airport :) Bring earplugs if your sleep is light - you are close to a mosque so you may be woke by the morning preyer and those that cleans the streets. Pros: I liked the location by the shoe sellers in an authentic part of town yet a short walk to the main sites The bed was comfy The shower had lots of hot water There was tea and coffee and a fridge The breakfast had cereals and fruits which was good for me as well as other choices

Pros: The hotel is really as shown and described in comments on Booking. Rooms are spacious (comparing to other similar accommodations in Istanbul) and location is convenient as it is close to the tram and 5mins walk to the Grand Bazaar. Our rooms were cleaned every day, and we got new towels and water bottles which we liked very much. Our kids were staying in the room next to ours and we felt safe all the time.

Cons: The hotel is surrounded by small shops and the streets get filled with trash, especially in the evening. However, we were aware of that as it has been shared by other guests so we were prepared. Still, it ruins the first impression. Especially if you arrive at night.

Pros: The hotel was very clean and a reception staff always available. Very convenient to get to the tourist attractions. The housekeeping staff were great and cleaned our room everyday.

Cons: The breakfast spread was exactly the same all 5 mornings. As the hotel is surrounded by shoe shops it was very noisy.. we could hear footsteps continuously in the mornings from the upper floor. The taxi was not able to come to the hotel for my airport departure, i had to drag my luggage up and down hills to get to the taxi.

A fair accommodation...

Pros: Clean room, comfortable for two people, very good breakfast, and excellent location.

Cons: The soundproofing was poor, both from outside and inside the building. We were only given one key card for the room, and a second one was not available. The price should have been lower for what was offered.

Nice people, clean place

Pros: The absolute highlight was breakfast. Communication was good, everyone was nice to us And especially our kids. They were tolerant of their behavior (kids 2,4 And 6 years). The cat. Location was very convenient. And the room was cleaned every single day. Thanks a lot!
