Overall very comfortable stay

Pros: The rooms were exactly as described, and everything worked perfectly. The location was excellent and very convenient. The sauna, which was included in the price, was a fantastic bonus and truly enjoyable. Additionally, the staff kindly arranged our airport transfer, which made our stay even more convenient and stress-free.

Cons: The views from the room windows weren’t particularly impressive.

Excellent place highly recommended wonderful staff and I would definitely stay here again

Pros: The location was absolutely perfect/ walkable to explore Istanbul. Even close enough to the ferry to cross the river. Surrounded by the vibrancy of the Galata tower and beautiful balcony views. The connecting room was a blessing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Cons: The area is steep so you need proper walking shoes and should be mindful of the road and traffic when leaving the building.

Royal Galata hotel

Pros: Amazing location For the price we paid the rooms were very cosy Clean hotel Bathrooms cleaned daily Towels slippers toiletries provided In middle of shopping souks 5 mins from galata tower Straight route from here takes you to isteklal street and taksim square with all high street shops I loved staying here

Cons: Beds were not made for you daily like you would expect Bathrooms are cleaned thoroughly but bedrooms are not cleaned daily just rubbish is taken away

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Galata Hotel, and the location is absolutely perfect for discovering Istanbul. I would like to give a special mention to Yusuf, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. He truly contributed to making our stay even more enjoyable.

Pros: Cozy room, comfortable bathroom with good water pressure, towels and sheets was clean. Welcome water, odorless wardrobe, luggage stand. No dust, no fungi, no carpet - good choice for travellers with allergy. Cool and safe location. Very good for this price (oct 2025 - 136 euro per 2 nights for one person, room with one big bed and balcony). I recommend

Excellent hotel, well priced, great staff.

Pros: Room as stated, balcony view of Hagia Sofia, great location. Shower good, bed comfortable. Staff excellent: Halil, Boris and Yusef were very hospitable and ensured our transfer was booked. Would recommend.

Cons: air con warm but maybe our error. not worth complaining about.

Exceeeded my expectations and value for money - I felt I got way more than what I paid for.

Pros: Strategic location - very safe to walk around even at night and the staff were top notch. I was truly impressed by all the small details in the room and by the attention given to me by the staff. They always looked out for me wherever I needed to go out as they knew i was traveling alone. Special mention to Yusuf who went out of his way to make this stay memorable! The room is modern, very clean and spacious. Very comfortable stay.
