Nice hotel in a great location

Pros: Nice quiet location but close to the shops and tourist attractions.

Cons: Very nicely decorated and designed. A member of the staff was very helpful when a member of our party left their phone in a taxi. He worked effortlessly to help us retrieve it.

Quiet Good Stay and near attractions

Pros: The place is clean and quiet by night. Closed to main attractions. Many restaurants nearby. Oscar is friendly and helpful.

Cons: 1. We booked for King bedroom since we have a child sharing the bed. I found out that they put the twins beds together to make one King. It’s disappointed since we have already informed that we had a child with us and we did need King! The property was firmly replied that we would get the King room as need. 2. The breakfast was same everyday. Nothing to surprise for the next morning. We did not find some other places for breakfast. Just want to finish quickly and go for sightseeing.

Lovely small hotel

Pros: Very nice bedroom, comfy beds, very good breakfast, great location, helpful staff

Cons: Only thing would be that it doesn’t have an elevator, but not an issue for me

Highly recommend as location, staff and room were exceptional

Pros: Great location with dozens of restaurants close by. Staff were excellent particularly Jam (I think that’s how you spell it) who was a delight. Room was great and the Turkish breakfast was sensational.

Pros: Location right in centre of old town very close to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Busy street but quiet inside room. Ozgur on reception was particularly friendly and helpful.

Cons: The rooms are air-conditioned but the unit was noisy and only adequate in the humid conditions.

Boutique experience

Pros: The Royan Suites was a small boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They shared some great advice about local places of interest. We enjoyed the delicious, personal breakfast each morning. The staff were keen to practise their English and we could learn a 'little bit' of the Turkish language. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk to places such as Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, trams and ferries. There were great rooftop restaurants nearby. We spent 3 weeks touring in Turkey and this was our favourite accommodation.

Cons: I cannot think of anything that we didn't like.
