Highly recommended if you're looking for a great Budget hotel!

Pros: Hotel Ümit Yenikapı was a pleasant surprise. The manager/employees were very friendly. For the price, it was really clean—way better than I expected for a budget hotel. It’s also close to the tourist spots, and there are lots of places nearby to grab breakfast. Simple, but it does the job!

Very good option in the European part, close to historical landmarks and transport

Pros: The hotel is conveniently situated a very short walk from a transportation hub (buses, train, Marmaray, metro lines) so it is very communicative and has many places where you can grab food within 2 mins walk. The friendly gentleman at the reception is giving you a warm welcome and is willing to help you with things. My room was pleasant and had a view towards the Marmara sea and I found the room very pleasant and the bed amazingly comfortable. Excellent value for money, I strongly recommend!

Cons: It can be slightly noisy but for anyone who is used to the urban noise or can ignore it, this is not an issue at all, I certainly didn't find it troublesome.
