Marmaray Hotel

Pros: Location close to metro and tram, The room and the hotel were very clean and well maintained.

Cons: This is the first time we have been disappointed with the breakfast at this hotel. Both times the bread at breakfast was hard and old. For a country that is known for its delicious bread, this is unacceptable. The food that was supposed to be warm-sausages, potatoes, pasta, fried foods - cold.

Excellent quality-price ratio

Pros: I have stayed another time, excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms nice and varied breakfast

Overall good value for money, good location, brilliant staff, certaintly my go-to hotel at Istanbul.

Pros: The breakfast was nice it consisted of various types of foods and was presented in a buffet style. The restaurant area was comfortable and nice and overall was good value for money.

Cons: The Gym only had 2 equipments; i was expecting a room full of dumbbells and cables etc. There was no pool even though it was listed on the facilities description. Can be hard to sleep at times due to the noise from the outside and if you are in floor 6 you hear the noise from upstairs floor 7- the restaurant.

I definitely recommend this place ☺️

Pros: It is easy to go around the area, metro is about 2 min from it. Rooms comfortable and clean. Reception helpful.

Perfect

Pros: Location was great. Room was big and very clean. The restaurant of the hotel has a wonderful sea view. We enjoyed a lot our breakfast. And people were very kind and friendly.

Enjoyable

Pros: From the moment i arrived the gentleman on the front desk greeted me with a smile and was so polite. I asked for a nice room and they gave me a choice of 2 rooms and told me to pick the one i wanted. The hotel is central and is near to the metro. I travelled alone and was made to feel welcome

Cons: I wasnt too keen on the breakfast but that didnt ruin my stay

Pros: Friendly service ,cleanliness and amenities. Staff is on 24 hour service which is excellent.

Cons: Breakfast has to be improved. It has the same menu everyday. Very little to food. Many cheeses but less breakfast material. Boiled eggs only, as opposed to scrambled ,sunny side up or fully done eggs. Too many cold salads everyday and less food.More plug points required in rooms.

Pros: Can be improved. Cater chicken, not cold meats all the time. They should have eggs on the go scrambled,sunny sidecup etc, not only boiled eggs.. Should have fruit available and yoghurt..

Cons: Chairs should be re-cushioned.. It's very low.. Toilet paper should be more than one. Lighting in rooms to be improved..

great staff, great location, great break fast

Pros: Location: the location is a huge plus, you are 15 min away from the main attractions, also that you can reach taksim and the Asian side so easy by walking 6 min till the metro station was great plus. Breakfast: unlike the ratings for the breakfast, it was excellent. you had every thing you expect for a breakfast meal. Staff: very friendly and helpful, speaks Turkish, English, and some speak also Arabic.

Cons: Noise: the noise wasn’t the worst till a point that you can’t sleep, but it was there, however if you have a long day walking in Istanbul, you would come look for the bed and you wouldn’t care how much noise you will hear because you will be already dead :))
