The Central House Istanbul Taksim

Pros: The Hostel it was very near to the center and very clean. The persons in the reception was very friendly and give us a lot information.

Enjoyable, clean and perfectly located, gives you all you need in a wonderful city.

Pros: Staff are exceptional, location is perfect to explore the city, the room and bed is very comfortable and spacious, the breakfast is a great bonus and a perfect way to start the day, the lady greets you with a big smile and a very warm attitude, lovely, the Guys on reception are very open and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, helped me with my night time boarding pass, very genuine communication skills, keep up the good work, i will be back.

Perfect

Pros: The breakfast was light and enjoyable, with excellent coffee or tea according to preference, served in a very clean and comfortable area. The staff are extremely welcoming and warm words are not enough to describe their hospitality. Special thanks to Mr. Talha at the reception and Maria, who is responsible for breakfast; they were incredibly helpful and made the experience even more pleasant.

Cons: Sometimes there was a smell from the toilet after closing the room; the first day was uncomfortable, but it wasn’t very strong later. Breakfast was average with very few options. The rooftop area was closed, which was a bit disappointing

Repeated stay and will repeat

Pros: This is my another stay in this hostel, still my favorite one. Every time i visit Istanbul, this hostel always in my choices. I like the way they manage things ( if your request is available, they will give to you ) It is good for everyone. The location is near by shops and walking distance to Taksim. Lift also provide in the building

Pros: Very friendly and great amenities, two power outlets per bed and black out curtains. Great location and proximity to Taksim. Lovely roof top bar and there's a great restaurant across the street.

Cons: Had to pay 200 Lira for towels, and the aircon in our unit wasn't working (not really a problem being November).

Great location, Not so great breakfast experience

Pros: Great location! very clean, I was working remotely and was able to work from the rooftop bar area during the day ( after breakfast). Internet was strong and lovely cafe type music playing most of the time on rooftop bar area. They really try to be engaging with daily activities such as pub crawls and quiz nights etc.

Cons: I prayed for guidance with this review, and whether to give it a good or bad review or say anything at all. I ended up giving a 10 star rating because sometimes it takes a bit of effort to be kind. However, this is a hostel I will not recommend to my friends and family because of the lady that serves breakfast there. Giving this place a bad rating would actually be bringing me down to her level of bitterness. My first morning when I went for breakfast could at best be described as going to a restaurant and the waiter doesn't leave your table. The lady that served breakfast watches your every move, like you stealing her food.. it was extremely uncomfortable, she even dresses like she's law enforcement. The moment I was done eating she said something in Turkish directing me to put my plate by the dirty dishes and leave, I was still drinking my coffee at the time. The next morning she did the same to another girl. The girl responded and said yes Im leaving and the breakfast lady slapped her hands on the table and said \

Such a memorable one

Pros: I love every events that been organized by the hostel. I had an amazing stay here ! The place cozy and had such a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with local tips or just have a good chat. The location was perfect close to everything but still peaceful at night. I especially loved the rooftop area where travelers from around the world hung out and shared stories. Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in I’d come back here anytime!

Pros: Great location, easy to travel around. There is a bus station to airport.
