Great location and staff, could be cleaner though

Pros: Lovely personnel, super friendly, central location, free all you can breakfast included, love to roam the little side streets around the hostel as they feel so safe and cosy, close to Istikal street, all your shopping needs are taken care of in a tiny radius and the food is delicious. Room had a fridge which is great and a really nice shower with a movable hose. The pubs under the window are super loud until late in the morning (4 or so), but that lulls me to sleep and I personally find it very soothing. If you need silence to sleep, that this hostel is not for you. The rooms are clean enough, however, no vermin or anything, nice cosy stay except for the 'clean dirt' of the sheets. The location is perfect and I will definitely book again, love the staircase and the view from the restaurant. They offer a great selection of foods and they are very tasty dishes. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond, this is something I was greatly pleased with.

Cons: The bed sheets were stained, but the hostel staff explained to me the novel concept of 'clean dirt' - old stains that could not ve removed by washing ... Still I wish they bleached the stains out as that was really uncomfortable for me, to come into the room and find brown poop shade stains on my sheets The hygiene level of the kitchen is sub par, and I wished the cleaner sid their job better. I opened the microwave and I was disgusted, whereby I do not have high standards when travelling. It was obvious that nobody had cleaned it in months, no excuses for that kind of neglect. Also, our room was equipped with a kitchen but no pots, pans or cutlery save for two spoons and a fork. The 'locker' I got did not have a lock, which was unsettling but I simply bought a piece of chain from the hardware store and locked my Stuff in a kitchen cupboard since they were all empty anyway. I wish the breakfast had some sucuk, turkish delight, goat or sheep cheese and scrambled eggs every now and then and now the same each day. I would also like the possibility to warm the bread (a toaster) and little bags of salt, but for the sake of simplicity their way works perfectly.

Decent place to have a good rest and good breakfast

Pros: Excellent for the price. The sheets for the bed were clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though, the location was in a noisy area, It was negligible enough to sleep. The breakfast is one of the best ones I have had and the terrace was a nice surprise. The toilets and showers are clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. I would definitely come back.

Cons: the kitchen in my room didn’t have pots, dishes or anything for cooking except microwave.

A clean, budget-friendly stay with great staff and location.

Pros: I had a great stay at this hostel! The staff were very good, always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, well-prepared, and satisfying. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The hostel was also clean and well-maintained. Moreover, it offers excellent value for money, making it a great choice for budget travelers

Cons: However, there are many beds in the same hall, which might be a privacy concern if fully occupied. Since there were not many people at that time, I didn’t feel it much, but during peak times, it could be an issue. Additionally, the hostel is among bars and pubs, so it may not be ideal for those looking for a quiet stay.

Pros: Very comfortable beds and a nice big room with chairs and tables. Good breakfast on the rooftop. Lots of bathrooms and showers. Friendly and helpful stuff.

Cons: The entrance is through a bar, and it smells cigarette a lot. There is loud noise from the bars until around 2am

Pros: Very tasty breakfast with great view on terrace, clean rooms and showers. Very helpful people working in hostel, helped me with every my request, even when i asked about stuff I left in the room. Very easy to get from subway station Taksim square

Cons: Very noisy during the night because of the club music nearby and in early morning when people in mosque start praying. Easy to miss at the fist time.

Great location for solo travellers

Pros: Fantastic location if you want to be amongst the hustle and bustle of cool little alleyway bars and restaurants. Easy to access public transport to all areas of Istanbul. Walking distance to Ports for Bosphorus cruises Clean and tidy rooms and bathrooms

Cons: No atmosphere in any of the hostel bars - There was a Quiz night on one night that wasn't even advertised internally to hostel guests!! Private rooms were inside dorm rooms which was a little strange and not mentioned in the room descriptions.

Good location and a very good and friendly manager

Pros: I have booked a room at the hostel , the room was clean and the manager was very friendly and polite it was very nice of him to let me pay the next day , also the breakfast was good for the price.
