Perfect one night - the best hostel in Istanbul!

Pros: Well located, in busy taksim area. Although that the room was quiet for the night. the room was clean, the bed super comfortable. Ahmed’s hospitality was outstanding, he’s very professional and you can see he giving his heart and soul running this place. Also he offered me to leave my bag after I checked out. in the room I had shower with warm water.the restaurant down stairs was serving delicious pizza and tasty Turkish tea

What a great place to stay for a first time in Istanbul!

Pros: The owner is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Location is great. The place is cute and has a warmth to it, we felt secure and like home when freshly arrived in Istanbul for the first time. The room has good storage, the beds were soooo comfortable!! I highly recommend staying at Chambers of Bohème, everyone was lovely! Delicious pizza in the restaurant as well. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Ahmed is the man!

Pros: Nice old fashion quirkey establishment. I loved Ahmed and his brothers who run the hotel and the pizza restaurant. They are great. Location is great too, close to Takasim Square, metro, buses and endless food and shopping options. I was very lucky to be put on my own in a dormitory room, thank you Ahmed.

Cons: It's an old building with a lot of character and many many stairs. Not everyone would be into it, if you're looking for somehwere very modern it wouldnb't be for you. The shared area is the pizza restaurant and Ahmed's office, which is not very relaxing if you're looking for somewhere to chill. The roof terrace is currently closed.

Decent place for its price.

Pros: Excellent location - a stone's throw from Istiklal street, 15 minutes walking from the airport shuttle stop on Taksim Square. The bunk was comfortable and I could place my belongings on top of the locker, which was nearby. There was an ensuite bathroom, so you always knew if it was free or not. Water taps, shower, etc. - in a decent condition.

Cons: Pretty steep staircase, might be difficult to climb with suitcases. No curtains on the bunks. No individual electric sockets and lights. There could be more place for personal belongings (except for my bunk), not enough hooks for clothes. No kitchen. Towel are provided for additional fee.

Pros: Kindness and supporting of the host Ahmed, thank you for warm welcome, that was so pleasant to start my first time visit Turkey with your kindness. nice accommodation and location, people were nice, so many places around to eat and to take some coffee, air conditioner heated well so when it was cold outside it was warm enough inside

Great location, great owner and best value.

Pros: Excellent location. Everything in Istanbul at your doorstep. The place is clean and tidy and the owner and his brother will make you feel at home and part of the family. Take all of his advice and recommendations and definitely reach out to him with any questions you have big or small, even just things like where to get bottled water for a reasonable price. I have stayed here twice now as has my sister and friends and we all love this place. Will definitely be back on any future trips to Istanbul. The pizza kitchen down stairs is also amazing and was the best pizza I had in Europe. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning too. Showers are great too.
