Gafa Garden Hostel & Apartments - Great Location

Definitely worth the price

Pros: The location is very good. Breakfast was soooo amazing, totally did not expect this level of service. Staff were so nice and helpful. They even provide a towel, stored my friend’s luggages while she went to Cappadocia for a few days so she didn’t have to carry everything with her. Thank you so much

Cons: I got bed bugs from this place. The water on the tap was cold so have to wash face and hands from the shower otherwise get freezing. However, with the price itself, this is 100% acceptable, but just to take note when booking.

Excellent low budget choice in the centre of town.

Pros: Excellent location. Very helpful employees. Good breakfast for a hostel level. Clean toilets. It was my 3rd time staying there (4 bed room)

Cons: Mattress was a bit old, but not big deal.

Good hostel to stay

Pros: Location is great, on the side calm street near the main touristic street Istiklal. Near is metro station Taksim and 15 min walking distance from buses to the airports. Hostel has nice terrace where rather solid breakfast is served in the morning and where everyone can seat and talk during the day with limitless supply of good hot tea. Beds are quite comfortable with personal light, sockets, towel and locker. Bathrooms on the first floor are very tiny, literally a cubicle. Atmosphere is very friendly, relaxed, staff is very helpful, open and positive. Very nice place to stay in Istanbul for budget traveller.

Fun!

Pros: A very sweet place with many different people how are all very fun to meet! A place that attracts nice and intersting people and a sweet staff. Also the neighborhood is very nice. Just downstairs of the hostel there is this great café wich also always gathers the nicest people. The staff is very sweet and the food is amazing. So you really have everything at one place.

Cons: The bathrooms get cleand daily wich is very nice, but still they could use renovation. There are a few things they could in to bring them up to track, but also it is a very affordable place to have a great time. I think these are just the things you compromise.

Friendly ambiance.

Pros: Staff was so friendly and always compliance of any need whenever needed. Breakfast was good and you can also cook for yourself. Property is around 5 minute walk from Istiklal street and lot restaurants and stores around the hostel. Note: photo attached is taken from the hostel’s open air space where guests sit, eat and chill.

Cons: There was some noise of people coming from outside on the ground floor. First night I stay on third floor and it was fine.

Recommended for a couple of nights

Pros: The staff👍 Location🥇 A good breakfast was included in my stay via Booking🙏 Comfy bed, shower is good and clean and there's two of them, clean toilets. For me what's important is a spacious locker 🛅 Nice!

Cons: My bed didn't have a source of light. The terrace is ok, although I wouldn't say it qualifies as a working space, I mean, a decent working space is required in modern times and way of life.

Pros: The location and price. The staff is also nice. They also provide breakfast.

Cons: The fact of the room door is a bit unsafe.

Pros: Great location- close bus station from airport (SG-2), ferry from Kabatas, to old center by walk. Perfect breakfast (fruits, vege, omelette, etc.). Room was clean, comfy and with balcony, 2 shared bathrooms was enought, hair-dryer and bath soap available. Open terrace and calm location with bars and restaurants around.
