If you want to be in the hurt of the canter / galata tower, this is what you looking for.
Pros: Wonderful staying with great atmosphere, more like a vintage vibe which I really enjoyed. Many thanks to Bahar for being so helpful and kind! Will visit again in the future.
Cons: Footsteps on the upper floor/room were made us rethink to change room/apartment but thankfully staff was very helpful about the situation, which we did appreciate it.

Great location
Pros: I have stayed in Istanbul in many locations. Galata is probably the best. The bed was super comfortable. The relationship manager was great. She's super professional.
Cons: The room needs renovation.

Pros: This is a lovely and convenient aparthotel (from what I can tell, part of a network of properties in the neighbourhood). Very centrally located (steps away from Galata tower, Istiklal Cadesi and Taxim - note though that this is uphill from the Bosphorus, so do expect a bit of walking), but quiet (despite the area being overrun by tourists). Many good shops, cafés, restaurants (even a café+bookshop) nearby, as well as the metro, and several museums. Good breakfast (would probably make sense to label some items/ingredients, though, as not everything is self-evident). All in all, would give it a 9.8/10 if it weren't for....
Cons: The only serious downside: soundproofing *within* the building. The upstairs room sounds like there's an imprisoned elephant regardless of who is occupying it, and the noise travels in the corridor as well. This is a shame as it's in a really quiet side street in the midst of a *very* noisy neighbourhood, so maybe invest in some good soundproofing - it's a gem otherwise!

Pros: Excellent value for money. Great location for exploring Istanbul. Excellent selection of food at breakfast. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.
Cons: You could hear people in the room above walking around but pretty quiet apart from that

Pros: Very welcoming personal and very friendly. Felt just like ive been there every year. Also the breakfast is extra ordinary! Sooo much to choose from with a very very good quality. Theres also live music at breakfast!
Cons: For my size the bathroom at the topfloor was too low. I hit my head at least twice haha. Gotta upgrade my room next time. :-)

Pros: Highly Recommended Stay (Meroddi Group, Galata)!! My stay was excellent. The Meroddi Group (which includes Meroddi Barnathan Hotel and Meroddi Flats) is ideally located in the Galata neighborhood. The area is charming for walks and provides a very convenient base for visiting other parts of Istanbul. Numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops are easily accessible nearby. The staff was exceptional—friendly, very nice, and detail-oriented. A significant thanks goes to Bahar of the Guest Relations team, who ensured my needs were met and provided lovely in-room gifts and a card. Evening Manager Can was also notably helpful and kind; his suggestion to enjoy the view from the rooftop bar was much appreciated. The breakfast at Barnathan Garden was very good and featured a wonderful view of the Galata Tower. I would definitely go back again for my next visits!

Both are very good
Pros: This apartment is great, right in the scenic area, with convenient shopping and dining options nearby. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and you can even cook, so you can enjoy Turkish cuisine while changing things up. The hotel breakfast is also excellent, offering a variety of Turkish options. I was very satisfied with the service, and I would definitely come back again.
Cons: Because the old building's rooms aren't very soundproof, some guests talk loudly at night, and the noise from walking down the stairs is also quite loud. While we appreciate the charm of historical buildings, we also need to be considerate of others. I suggest putting up a sign to inform people of this.
