The Genoese Galata

Comfortable apartment with breathtaking views perched on Galata Hill.

Pros: Well appointed apartment with spectacular views from its windows and the cockloft balcony that is a lovely place to watch the city go by. Kitchen and laundry were very serviceable and bathrooms well fitted our. Only issue for us was there is no lift so have to climb to the 5th floor of the building to reach the apartment. Besides this a very enjoyable stay for our family of 5.

Cons: Old building which needs some renovation & no lift makes for carrying luggage up the stairs difficult..

The perfect location/accommodation to explore Istanbul

Pros: The apartment is perfectly located to explore Istanbul either on foot or by public transport. Galata district with all its cafes, restaurants and small shops are at your door step. The view from the two terraces are is panoramic, there is seating area almost at the roof top. The apartment is spacious, kitchen is well equipped (although we preferred to dine outside), beds are comfortable, WiFi is very good. Please note that the apartment is at the last floor (6th) and there is no elevator -- this however is a good exercise :)

Cons: The apartment seems a little bit dated -- minor stuff needs repairing but nothing significant. Overall, we had a great time in Istanbul!

Soggiorno semplicemente perfetto con vista impareggiabile sulla torre di Galata e sul Bosforo

Pros: Soggiorno semplicemente perfetto. La posizione dell’alloggio è ideale: comoda per raggiungere le principali attrazioni e circondata da negozi, ristoranti e caffè. L’appartamento è confortevole, arredato con gusto, letti comodi, pulito, silenzioso di notte e dotato di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno senza pensieri. Il proprietario si è dimostrato estremamente disponibile, gentile e rapidissimo nelle risposte, qualità che abbiamo davvero apprezzato. La vista che si gode da ogni punto dell’appartamento, poi, è impareggiabile e rende unico il soggiorno! Torneremo sicuramente al più presto. Grazie

Würde ich wieder buchen!

Pros: Die Lage war top und auch das Zimmer hat alles geboten, was man braucht. Die Besitzer waren sehr unkompliziert und wir durften sogar unsere Sachen am letzten Tag im Zimmer lassen, bis wir zum Flughafen sind.

Cons: Die Schlüsselübergabe zu Beginn war nicht 100% klar. Da wir aber eine lokale SIM-Karte hatten, war die Organisation vor Ort kein Problem. Die Besitzer haben sich schnell gemeldet und die Wartezeit konnte im Café gegenüber verweilt werden.

Pros: Tiene unas vistas maravillosas. De los sitios más increíbles en los que he estado. Se ve mejor Estambul que desde la torre galata. Las fotos no muestran la belleza del apartamento

Cons: No tiene ascensor. Ya lo sabía y para nosotros no era un problema, pero es importante avisar

Pros: Krásny a čistý 2-poschodový apartmán (na 7mom poschodí bez výťahu) s krásnym výhľadom na Bospor aj Galatskú vežu. 2 kúpeľne, 2 spálne, kuchyňa spojená s obývačkou. Postele pohodlné. Teplá voda tiekla, wifi fungovala. Rovno na vedľajšej ulici množstvo obchodov a reštaurácií, kaviarní. Na Istikal pár minút chôdze. Takisto ku Galatskému mostu.

Cons: Chýba výťah, apartmán je na siedmom poschodí.

Pros: A very stylish, modern, spacious apartment. Located near the Galata tower and Istiklal Cd. at the heart of the old town of Istanbul. Everything is as promised in the pictures. Self check-in and self checkout are possible, which is great.

Cons: The apartment is on 6th floor and there is no elevator.

Grazioso

Pros: La struttura è posizionata in una delle zone centrali delle città a pochi minuti da numerose amenità, servizi e luoghi di interesse. Lo staff è molto disponibile e veloce nella comunicazione. Probabilmente torneremo.

Cons: Purtroppo non c'è l'ascensore e cinque piani a piedi non sono per tutti.
