Good value for the money

Pros: - Location was a 5-minute walk to Taksim Square - I got it for around 30-35 $ per night, so it was a good value for this price for a one-bedroom apartment in that area - The host was responsive to the concerns

Cons: - The floor wasn't clean from the beginning, and we reserved the place for 16 nights, so it was impossible to ignore that. I asked for the vacuum cleaner that apparently wasn't available, so we had to clean the floor with paper towels. - The bed wasn't comfortable at all. the mattress wasn't clean as well. however, we had our own bed sheets to cover everything. - There was a WiFi problem for nearly half time of our stay

Could be considered for an extended stay in Istanbul

Pros: Great location, very close to Taksim Square and easy walking to the airport shuttle stop. Not too large but it's got plenty of facilities for its size. People who managed the place have apparently put lots of efforts in it and went all out to take care of their guests.

Cons: My room was on the top floor and the host helped me with my luggage. If it's not convenient for you to climb up stairs, check before booking.
