Pros: Apt size was good with washing machine and kitchenette. Sound proofing was great, though the prayer calls and church bells still could be heard. But this is Istanbul. If it bothers you, you should probably not visit this place. Cleaning staff is very thorough. It was cleaner than any place I had stayed at before. Thanks Vera, for the room upgrade.

Cons: The kettle and kitchen sink faucet were not working well for the top floor apt. The JustIn app requires Bluetooth and mobile to unlock the room door and activate the elevator. For room doors opening anti clockwise, right handers will find it awkward to place phone against the door panel sensor. It only works when phone is held horizontally so it’s almost flat against the sensor. Vertical doesn’t work 9/10 times. Maybe more advice on how to unlock the door should be given to avoid frustration and unnecessary bothering of Vera. She’s very patient though, much appreciated.

Pros: We had a weeks stay at Upside apartments and it was perfect for our needs. First of all Vera who deals with all the communication is an absolute gem. Ensuring the app for the key worked, also leaving a physical key card as requested. Unfortunately, as we were leaving the lift had to be worked on and Vera was straight over to help with cases and it was very much appreciated. The flat was spotless, bed comfy and the air con a much needed delight. We were concerned it may be noisy as the street below is extremely busy but the soundproofing is superb. I have recommended the apartment to friends visiting in September and would have no hesitation in booking again. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Pros: Amazing, amazing place. Location is extremely good, apartment is very clean, comfy and nice. And the apartment is located inside a CHICKEN SHOP!!!! HOW COOL IS THAT? It’s like a speakeasy and gives you a great vibe of being in the ecosystem of a huge city. Highly recommend!

Nice location and perfect window view

Pros: The location is fantastic—just a 2-minute walk to the Line 2 metro exit. It's situated right above a shopping street, so everything you need is just steps away. The elevator is super convenient, and it's only an 8-minute walk to Galata Tower.

Cons: The range hood is basically just for show—it vents the smoke straight up to the ceiling, so the fumes still end up spreading throughout the entire place.

Pros: The apartment is perfect, comfortable and in an amazing location. The host was so beautiful and so kind with us I loved her energy she’s the best. Thank you for everything.

Exceptional accommodation in the heart of Istanbul

Pros: The cleanliness of the apartment was fantastic, and it was exceptionally decorated.

Cons: Sometimes, the water pressure would be low.

Exceptional place to stay in Istanbul

Pros: We are frequent visitors to Istanbul, and this is easily one of the best places we have stayed at. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and fully equipped. Ms. Vera was so supportive throughout, and ensured that our stay was very smooth, from arrival through to departure. The location is excellent, and various modes of public transport are so easy to access.
