Seven Hills Hotel - Special Category

A very happy experience— leaving us with a yearning to return

Pros: Loved the location— it really is central and so close to many attractions. The shuttle service made it hassle free for arrival

Cons: The choice of vegetarian items on the menu

Value for money with helpful staff in a good location.

Pros: Central with good location. Spacious restaurants and venue.

Cons: The restaurant has good views. The staff was good but the small things like providing fish knife for a fish dinner needs to be done.

Excellent value in a dramatic and historic setting.

Pros: Set between the Hagia Sofia and The Blue Mosque. Rooftop views are unparalleled. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You will be offered a variety of trips, experiences and excursions that you are under no obligation to accept. Some of the furnishings are looking a little tired an in need of repair. The door leading to the terrace/balcony was not lockable as such. This did not, however, impact on my stay. The room is spacious and very comfortable. The water pressure for the shower is very good. Toiletries provided are pleasant.

Cons: Not a negative as such. Check in after a long flight can be overwhelming for some. That said, the hotel staff make this process pleasant and welcoming and they offer you a tea or coffee on the house.

Great location to get to the main sights, but not so good price wise to eat or drink

Pros: The staff on the front desk were great and helpful and the location was amazing and so easy to see all the main tourist items we wanted to see. The room itself was nice and the bed was very comfy and the shower was great.

Cons: The drink price was extortionate and we knew the prices would be high but the prices here were double a lot of other close locations which was a shame as it would have been great to end the day at the hotel and chill with a drink. Also lack of a bar area meant you ended up sitting in the restaurant area if just wanted a drink. The staff also constantly tried to sell tickets for their NYE event and it was bad that the price came down 100 euros - so hope they refunded to people who had booked at full price

Great location, great value, lovely staff. Roof terrace is great (bar the seagulls)

Pros: Great location, great roof terrace with views over Haggia Sophia and Blue Mosque + the Bosphoros.

Cons: They let tourist feed seagulls by hand from the roof terrace though, so if you don't like birds its not great. Also very very noisy with the seagulls.

Pros: Very friendly and professional. Me and my best friend were in Istanbul for only three nights and it was a pleasant stay.

Great place to base yourself in Istanbul

Cons: Unpleasant bathroom odour but only in day 3 so just a one off issue presumably
