Golden Sail Hotel Old City

Perfect choice!

Pros: Perfect location, in the heart of sultanahmet. Best breakfast we ever ate in Turkey, ever! The staff is very attentive!

New rooms, nice neigborhood, testy food, great people

Pros: Lovely people, nice huge breakfast. Next to the sea. Close to budget restaurants and shops. Walking distance to Grand bazaar, Eminonu -> Asian part, Galata bridge etc. and main city atractions (aprox. 30 minutes)

Pros: It’s clean and tidy! Perfect location! The staff is very friendly, it’s my second time here and I will definitely come back again.

Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend!

Cons: As our room was facing the front of the building, it was loud and noisy during the night.

A warm and welcoming stay

Pros: Our stay was simply wonderful! The location was excellent, everything was within walking distance and I could even go for a run along the coast, which was just perfect Also the staff treated us with so much kindness, always friendly, helpful and ready with advice on local tours. They even arranged our airport transfer smoothly. What really made the difference was their warm hospitality, with small gestures like offering us sweets, fresh juice or tea while relaxing on the terrace. It felt so warm and welcoming that I would love to come back to Istanbul just to stay here again. Highly recommended! Special thanks to Gulya, Bugra and Volkan for making our stay so enjoyable!!

Pros: The location is very close to the center, in an area with restaurants, but still quiet. Mr Bugra was very helpful because, although the hotel does not provide parking, he helped us find one nearby. The breakfast was very rich, different every day, all the dishes were fresh.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel and restaurant staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, creating a warm, almost family-like atmosphere that made us feel truly welcome. Although we had booked a budget room, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a better one upon arrival. Everything was very clean – the room was tidied and towels were changed every other day. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, with something new to enjoy each morning. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back someday!

A hidden Gem in Istanbul

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at the Golden Sail Hotel Old City. Honestly, we didn't expect it to be this wonderful—but it truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, offering a variety of delicious options that changed daily, providing us with full energy to start our day. The hotel's location is perfect—situated in a luxurious and very safe area, we felt completely at ease exploring both during the day and at night. Despite being centrally located, the hotel is remarkably calm and peaceful; we couldn't hear any noise at night, allowing us to rest well after long days of sightseeing. We felt genuinely welcomed and well-cared for throughout our stay.
