Next time I am in Istanbul, i will stay at Anadolu hotel.
Pros: The location is exceptional - when they say it's a 3-minute walk to Aya Sofja and the Blue Mosque - it is literally 3 minutes. Once you get to the hotel and know where it actually is the rest is just a great pleasure - the train station is about 5 minutes walk, Grand Bazaar is a walking distance, everything is pretty much at the reach of a hand. In spite of the hotel not being a new one and some painting was in the process when I arrived, the room is very clean, the sheets were perfectly white and soft. The view from my window was the best - to Aya Sofja!!!! The breakfast was not huge but it was sufficient traditional Turkish breakfast including simit and my new discovery - tahini with pekmez. Because of the flight delay I came at 1 am instead of 4 pm but there was personnel there to accommodate me to my room and make me feel good. I honestly liked the hotel and you also will if you do not plan to spend the whole day in the hotel but do a lot of walking
Cons: I wouldn't call it a \

Stayed 21–24 Feb 2026 in non‑peak days; had no major issues. Overall, an okay stay.
Pros: Location-wise, this hotel is highly recommended by me. Everything you need is just a short walk away, which makes the stay incredibly convenient. Breakfast was fine—not exceptional, but definitely good for the price range. The room was quite spacious and comfortable and offered plenty of room to relax. I’ll be sharing photos as well. Hot water in the shower and room heating were available at all times, which made the stay even more comfortable. They also have a 24‑hour receptionist, which is very helpful for late check‑ins or any assistance you may need.
Cons: However, the room is not soundproof, so you might hear noise from the hallway or other areas. They also need to improve or train the cleaning staff, as it seems the cleaning team sometimes creates a bit of a mess. On the positive side, the management is very supportive, especially the night staff member Mohammad, who is extremely friendly, helpful, and kind. “They need to upgrade their blinds, curtains, mattresses, and pillows in order to provide a better customer experience.”

Excellent time
Pros: Can absolutely recommend Anadolu. Every member of the staff I talked to was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is 5 minutes from Ayasofya itself in an area that felt both lively and safe, but also a bit \
Cons: The Wifi was sadly so spotty and unreliable it was basically nonexistent. No heater in the bathroom, so showers were a bit chilly.

Great Location!
Pros: Perfect location for the Blue Mosque and Ayasofya and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: You definitely pay for what you get. More like a homestay with your own bathroom and hotel. Breakfast is small with not a lot of variety.

Pros: The thoughtfulness and assistance of the hotel staff were absolutely amazing We were struggling to book online overnight bus tickets, and the hotel manager booked it for us. He really went the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable and did not want for anything. I would highly recommend it. The location was perfect.
Cons: Nothing.
