Radisson Blu Hotel Istanbul Asia

Pros: friendly , helpful and professional staff . in a great location for my business needs . highly recommended for anyone looking to stay Asia side of Istanbul.

Pros: Hotel & staff was excellent. Breakfast was amazing, but would have helped if we had been advised re having items prepared/cooked if required

Cons: We were on the Asia side, when we should have booked for European side - which was our error. I did request a transfet to a Radisson on the European side, but the agent advised it could not be done & i also emailed radisson direct but no reply received

Time-tested hotel with strong reputation far away from everything

Pros: The hotel is exactly what you would expect: large, with spacious rooms and bathrooms, sparkling clean, and regularly serviced by the staff. It has a good air-conditioning system, which was handy because even in December the room was getting uncomfortably warm. Room service is very efficient, and the food is of good quality. A nice bonus is that the window can be easily and safely opened despite the fact that the building is a high-rise, so there is always fresh air. Overall, it’s a solid, time-tested hotel with a strong reputation.

Cons: The staff are helpful but somewhat inattentive. It felt a bit intimidating to ask them for anything or to order a service — as if they were doing you a big favour. The worst aspect, however, is the location. It’s 3.5 km from the nearest metro station, and the receptionists cannot advise on other public transport options — they have no information about buses or trams and simply repeat that they can order a taxi. This is understandable for a high-profile hotel where many guests likely rely on taxis to get around, but it still took me half an hour by taxi to reach that nearest metro station due to traffic congestion. I can only imagine how long it would have taken to get from there to the Old Town. The hotel is situated near a major highway link and is not ideal for walking either. The nearest shopping mall is a 20-minute walk, and the stadium is also a 20-minute walk away. It’s quite far from everything. Last but not least, I was genuinely shocked by their spa prices: 120 euros for the shortest sauna visit? That seems extremely overpriced.

Pros: Ozkan from reception is a very nice supportive man! He helped me every month to get used around the hotel and not only! Thank you Ozkan!

Cons: Cleaners are a bit noisy on the hallways

Pros: Nice reception and clean. Quiet area. Good security. Nice free sweets turkish style.

Cons: They barely speak english, common to turkey. reception is very nice and u can talk to them, but bar or restaurant, english is something they don t use. Breakfast more european than turkish. Cleaning ladies watch social media with very loud noise sometimes and you can hear them from your room. Happened only twice in the same morning.

Pros: Security did fantastic job, the taxi driver who tried to cheat me, security handled professionally, very impressed, unfortunately did not get the name of the person to thank specifically, overall very impressed with staff attitude. Bed, the room size were perfect.

Cons: Complimentary water in the room was not cold and seemed old, the fridge was not switch on.

Wonderful place to be

Pros: The locations, staff , cleanliness and rooms. The only staff who knew English (almost all of them ) attest workable knowledge of the English Language.

Cons: The breakfast (for which they took 27 euro per day extra, could have done better) and even room service food wasn’t good.

Pros: Clean Nice and comfortable room. Location is ok if you need smth in this neighborhood

Cons: Windows could be cleaned more frequently - very dirty. Also English of the stuff in the restaurant can be better - it’s difficult for them to understand what you want.
