The Craton Hotel Sisli

Pros: The hotel has all the facilities and is really family friendly. Room service was great - they pay attention to detail. I must mention Gulzar and the rest of the staff for all the care they took to make our stay great. The hotel is close to Sisli metro station making it easy to move around Istanbul. Cevahir shopping centre is nearby as well.

Great location with great staff

Pros: The hotel has an excellent location—just steps away from Şişli metro and very close to a nearby mall with all the amenities you’d need. You can walk everywhere easily. It’s also a 10-minute stroll to the lively Şişli street, where you’ll find everything. As for the staff, great people! They were incredibly cooperative. Especially “Mertcan, Songül, Yusa Harun & Canberk”, they were truly super supportive throughout my stay. I definitely plan to return to the same hotel next time I’m in Istanbul!

Cons: One small area for improvement would be the breakfast menu. It felt a bit limited, especially when we requested anything beyond plain eggs—such as omelets with vegetables or specific flavors. The chef would consistently decline and only offer plain options. Other than that, everything else was great!

Pros: Dear Hotel Team, I would like to highlight the positive experiences I had during my stay. First and foremost, the management was extremely welcoming upon my arrival, providing quality service with efficiency and kindness. Additionally, the spa was wonderful—I enjoyed two massages during my stay, and the staff there was very pleasant, making the experience highly recommendable.

Cons: Dear Hotel Team, I would like to share my recent experience. On one hand, Mr. Mertcan, who worked at the front desk, displayed an unprofessional and unkind attitude, even behaving disrespectfully by speaking in Turkish with a colleague about me while I was right there. This negatively impacted my experience, particularly during the check-out. On the other hand, I want to highlight the friendliness and courtesy of other staff members, such as the manager who assisted me during check-in, who was extremely kind and welcoming. I appreciate your attention and trust that you will take these comments into consideration to improve the experience for future guests.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the metro. Nişantaşı is about 30 minutes away on foot, and the stroll there was very enjoyable. The rooms are clean and cozy, breakfast was nice.

Friendly, helpful, English speaking staff and in a great location.

Pros: The location of The Craton is great, so central. Our housekeeper, Gülem, took very good care of us, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of variety at breakfast. We'll stay here again when we come back to Istanbul.

Pros: Loved how accommodating the staff were from the start to finish, cleaning services were great and the hotel itself was very professional, welcoming and smelt incredible. Super easy to get to the mall nearby and bars, cafes are close by.

Amazing stay

Pros: The reception staff was above and beyond!! Fatih and a young luggage porter I forgot the name were friendly and nice.

Cons: The breakfast items and the staff need to care a bit more. I didn’t feel welcome at all during 4 days. Asking for eggs is like asking for a favor :-(
